Lovely park we did an Airbnb through a couple called Anthony and cloie. Lovely caravan well set up and well kitted out. Would definitely go again.

Perfect tranquil park, in a rural location with lovely woodland walks on site. Quiet location with fabulous amenities, high recommend the cafe for lunch or breakfast. The pool in the summer months is fabulous for families. The clubhouse aways has lots going on. Useful minimart and laundrette on site.

I can't rate the park as we didn't use it. But our caravan, which we booked via air b&b, 4 Sycamore. Was absolutely beautiful. So many lovely little touches that made it so welcoming. I would happily live in this caravan.

From my experience I would advise anyone against purchasing a caravan on this site from Allen's Caravans.

My father purchased a caravan in 2019 for £26k and passed away in 2020. The site offered to buy the caravan back.. for £10k.

I refused and looked to sell the caravan privately. I had a buyer for £20k, the contract states the site has to vet the buyer and take payment, subtract their 15% sale commission (for what exactly?) and pay the remainder to myself. They never called my buyer despite chasing them up many times.

My buyer got cold feet and the sale fell through.

I found another buyer for £18k, at this point they decided to enact their right to buy for that price and the buyer I found had their time wasted.

I expected payment for £15.3k but instead was paid 10k without explination. I called up to find they had subtracted ground rent and service charges accrued since the day my father died disregarding the 9 months that probate took to be granted. If they had bothered to call my first buyer it would have taken months off this process, but they didn't and then tried to charge me for it!

I went ballistic and they agreed to waive the extra charges.

My whole experience with them left me sour.

They are callous and money hungry.

If you are planning on purchasing a caravan here to enjoy your retirement, please don't bother. The bills are no less than if you lived in a house. What's worse is that the inheritance you plan to leave to your children will be likely gobbled up by clauses and terms and conditions.

Avoid like the plague.

It’s a lovely place but it would be great if we could stay 12 months instead of 10! It is awful when you have to leave your home but management doesn’t seem to care! Only interested in money

Fantastic place to stay feels like one big community. Great clubhouse cafe shop hairdressersl swimming pool and another little cafe mini golf and two seperate swing areas.Two big fishing lakes filled with carp bream and tench. Grandchildren love coming over and never want to go home.

Looks very nice but I personally have never been there. I've also been told its nice by several people who have been and stayed here and used all its facilities they offer.
