We had the most wonderful stay at Nancy’s place. The house was in excellent condition with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved using the bbq. The pool and gardens were absolutely beautiful. Nancys communication was excellent and she recommended great places to eat and hike. Thank you so much!

I recently attended Overtown Manor for a 4 day course. From the moment I arrived Nancy was so welcoming and accommodating. Between teas, mid morning, afternoon snacks and lunches I was thoroughly spoilt! All food was homemade most ingredients from the garden at Overtown. I can honestly say that the food was better than any restaurant I have been in! With beautiful gardens, accomodation and food I would recommend a stay at Overtown Manor to anyone! Thank you Nancy for an enjoyable 4 days!

I recently held a course at Overtown and can highly recommend the venue and the wonderful host Nancy. |The bedrooms are spotless, extremely comfortable and quiet.| The food, from the cooked breakfast, homemade snacks during the day and the two course lunch was absolutely delicious. We felt truly spoiled. |One of our delegates had a birthday during the event, and Nancy not only baked a fabulous cake but provided a card and put up bunting to ensure the day was memorable. |We had several dogs with us and they were also made very welcome. They enjoyed the garden but there are also stunning walks nearby. |From a business point of view the room was set up according to our instructions and AV was ready to go on the first morning. Everything ran like clockwork. It made running the course stress free and relaxing. |Thanks Nancy and team, I hope to be back next year. |Siobhan

I stayed here for 4 nights on a course. An absolutely stunning guest house. Spotlessly clean with comfy beds. The rooms are well equipped with an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, TV, and coffee/tea making facilities. The gardens are so beautiful. Nancy was more than accommodating and her cooking was out of this world. My only regret was not getting time to take a dip in the outside swimming pool. An excuse to visit again. Highly recommend!

This has been the second time I've attended a conference/course held at Overtown Manor and has, hands down, been my favourite venue for working/learning. Attendees are very well looked after - plenty of tea/coffee, homemade snacks and the most wonderful lunches - all in a beautiful, quiet, serene setting. Thank you, Nancy, for helping to make 'work' such an enjoyable experience!

The rooms were great, the bed comfortable and the view amaizing. The service was impeccable we both felt at home. Location is Wonderful and the animals all lovely. Without doubt the friendliest place I’ve ever stayed. Felt completely looked after, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the food was amazing. There are some gorgeous walks straight from the door. I only wish I could have stayed for an extra day after my meetings!

Picked Overtown for our short U.K. visit. Did'nt do any deep research just contacted & booked.I underestimated the distance by road from Holyhead,so we were well tired upon our late arrival. That was the only low point in our stay.Nancy runs an exemplary business here, managing to combine the best of old style homely personal B & B with top end quality in terms of rooms and food, with the teapot permanently on the go.We had excellent breakfasts both days, and used local hostelerys for lunch/dinners. The Plough on the Hill,The Fox & Hounds both nearby and the Red Lion in Avebury all stepped up to the plate for good quality tasty fare.If you have an interest in the ancients,Avebury is quite the place to visit, being far more engaging and accessible than the better publicised Stonehenge. We undertook two excursions from Nancy's,firstly to visit Lord & Lady Bath in Longleat House Safari Park and the second to the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum in New Milton, both a 90 min leisurely drive from Overtown. To sum up,a fantastic stay, not the cheapest, but you really DO get what you pay for. Well done Nancy & Percy.
