We stayed at the Badger Lodge for 2 days! So comfortable and clean, loved the privacy of the lodge especially with the hot tub! Great base if you’re visiting York can’t recommend this highly enough! We will definitely be back ❤️

We stayed in the Hedgehog and the decor was stunning.
The rooms were so spacious and had everything you needed.
Very quiet/peaceful location, nothing going on in the surrounding area which was fine for us as we stocked up on food/drink for the whole weekend.
We would definitely return.

We’ve been twice now, first time squirrel lodge second time Roe lodge, I have to say it was absolutely lovely. The lodges are beautifully designed and are of a high standard for cleanliness. The canopy of lights and bath in the roe lodge bedroom was simply stunning. The only thing I would change is the sofa, not super comfortable but was ok, and I’d add a slip mat in the bath, it’s very deep and easy to slip stepping in and out. But my husband and I love it here, we just switch off and relax. Great hosts, they are very helpful. We will return most definitely.

Absolutely excellent. Lodge was superb, spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. Couldn't fault it at all. Lovely little site. Hot tub was fantastic and temperature was set perfectly. Lodge was lovely and warm when we arrived.
It was a shame about the rubbish on the left as you entered the site but not marked down in any way as it had no impact whatsoever on our stay.

An absolutely amazing place to stay.

So relaxing and peaceful. We was lucky enough to watch a thunderstorm while enjoying the hot tub.

This place is beautiful.

Will definitely be booking again.

Such a shame that the pictures online are so deceiving. The lodge is lovely but it's the other things that make it a place we would not return to. We booked for 4 nights but left 24hrs early.
The location is dreadful, entrance to the spot is run down and looks like something from a horror film. The local pub is shutdown so the only option for a drink is to drive elsewhere.
The lodge is clean and looks lovely but the lights around the bed don't work, the hot tub only half works as the jets are broken. The hot tub wasn't clean and when the tub guy came once he threw in a few grains of chlorine, no dip testing. The private area out the back is rough stones and not good for your feet or the dogs. The furniture out the back was rotten and filthy. There's no area out the front for the dogs so sitting out front wasn't an option.
There is nowhere close to buy essentials.
We are no strangers to staying in lodges as we tend to have 4 breaks a year, our last also being in Pocklington. We wish we had rebooked KP lodges as that's on another level compared to owlet.

Amazing stay. Me and my girlfriend both felt relaxed as soon as we stepped foot on the property. We had everything/anything we needed for the stay and the hot tub was such a good addition. Location felt private and provided peaceful vibes
