What a gem this place is! Came to visit family who live in the area for one night. The location is Crowle is perfect, close to Tesco, the Co-Op and 2 pubs. Inside it was spotlessly clean and really nice decor. The hosts had left us bread, 3 different cereals, butter, jam, milk plus normal and herbal tea, instant and ground coffee. If you take your own food there's a fridge, microwave cooker and toaster. There's a wet room with a shower downstairs and a telly with free view along with lots of books/maps if you want to explore. The bedroom is on the mezzanine floor upstairs, the bed was really comfy. There are just 2 negatives; the bed is a bit creaky and the shower pressure and temperature were a bit iffy. We are planning our next stay so it really didn't spoil the stay one little bit.

We stayed here whilst visiting Crowle for a triathlon event.|The stables were a lovely place to stay. |I met Angus who was the perfect host and very knowledgeable about the Isle of Axeholm.|Plenty of books to read about the area.|The whole place was absolutely perfect for us.|A well equipped kitchen, lovely shower room and toilet, the living room has a tv( which we never used) a good selection of books about the area. The bedroom is tastefully furnished with a very large and very comfortable bed. We were well rested.|The stables are spotlessly clean and well behaved dogs are welcome.|I have no hesitation in recommending this holiday cottage to stay at.|

What a fantastic little place. We stayed here on route back to Norfolk from Yorkshire & so glad we. It had absolutely everything you could wish for a really good stay. Plenty of cereals & bread for breakfast & lovely teas & coffees. We really like what they've done with the building. It's different & that's what makes it stand out. The hosts are lovely & very helpful if you need anything. The only thing we had an issue with was the shower , it went from burning hot to real cold whilst using. Maybe this can be sorted & it is the reason we gave it 4 out of 5 otherwise it would have been a perfect 5. Thanks very much we really enjoyed our time there. George & Sue from Kings Lynn.

Love this absolute gem of a find! Quaint little cottage style self contained place. We weren't supposed to check in till four but we were going to a wedding and needed to arrive early. Addy managed to have the room ready for us when we arrived. Nice clean shower room and the towels were so soft and smelt amazing! Never paid any attention to towels before but this is my new standard all future towels will be held to! The biggest, comfiest bed I've ever slept in. When I tell you the sheets were like butter... I did not want to leave. Breakfast was lush; bread, cereal, croissants, homemade (I think?) jam and fruit all left for us, tea, coffee, fruit tea, anything you could want. The only thing we would have liked but wasn't available was some white sugar, but not a big deal, we had toast and croissants. Would have liked a later check out to lounge in bed a bit longer! I will say if you're staying for a wedding prebook taxis as they're hard to get, we rang Paul (the very last number in the help book) he was great, and went out of his way to make sure we got to the wedding on time.

What an absolute gem of a place to stay. From initial contact with Addy it was seamless experience. The Stables is well equipt, offering a home from home stay. Everything you need is there and the village is lovely with local shops and takeaways and a couple of lovely pubs within a few minutes walk. The hosts were helpful - even being kind enough to let us use their garden for the dogs. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Booked this for my husband and I as attending a wedding nearby and was pleasantly surprised. The living room is airy and spacious and upstairs on the mezzanine floor the bed is huge and had lovely fresh white cotton bedding on it. The wet room is great, shower hot and towels & shower gel provided but the kitchen was my favourite. Not only is it well stocked with everything you need but the hosts had left tea bags (both normal & fruit) instant coffee together with ground coffee; milk in the fridge and a small M&S farmhouse loaf with butter, jam, marmalade, bran flakes, granola & porridge! You can literally turn up here with nothing & breakfast is provided for you. The little touches the hosts provided went a long way & I would have no hesitation in recommending The Stables. The hosts are very friendly & very accommodating too.

From the ease of contacting the owners initially right through to leaving this was a really good experience. The Stables is well maintained and equipped with everything that you could wish for whether staying for one night or more. It has a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, tea and coffee provided and it is meticulously clean. ||If you forget something there is a Tesco Express just around the corner and the town centre takeaways are all within easy walking distance. There is good fee wifi and a decent TV in the lounge.||Highly recommended.

What a lovely little cottage. My wife and I stayed here for one night after attending a wedding at the nearby Hirst Priory. It's a perfect little place. It has everything you could need and was extremely clean.Plenty of places in the village for food, chippy, Chinese, Indian. Tesco express, co-op within a 2 minute walk. The owners are suoer friendly and obviously take great pride in being excellent hosts. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.
