Great location. Could do with a deep clean not just a once over including the kitchen. Water pressure was incredible and the beds were so comfortable. Didn't meet the owners ad it was all contacless.

Certain aspects of this B & B were quite good, the bed was comfortable, there was a fridge in the room and off road parking available. The bedlinen and towels were clean, also near several pubs and restaurants. However the room was lit by a naked light bulb and no less than 10 ceiling spotlights. There was no bedside lamp and 3 coathangers in the wardrobe for a room containing 3 beds. The bath mat looked rather grubby and was an unattractive shade of brown. There was no kettle in the room despite having a tray laid with cups and stale sachets of coffee and one teabag each. I wanted to make a cup of tea early in the morning so had to dress and go to the kitchen. The first carton of milk was so off it was solid. The sachets of milk in the room were also off. The continental breakfast was a do it yourself affair in a not very clean kitchen. The bin was filthy. There was a small table for 6 rooms. The food was very basic, and all of the cheapest sort, e.g. sliced white bread, barn eggs, Euroshopper juice, margerine with toast crumbs in it, etc. There was a sad looking fruit bowl. It was all very parsimonious. I did not feel at all valued as a guest, would not recommend and would not return.

I booked Oxford Bed and Breakfast as a last-minute emergency option when another booking fell through — it was unstaffed at that time but the host contacted me immediately with the codes to let myself in, and she responded very helpfully to my emails and came over to make sure everything was OK, which I deeply appreciated. The room was basic but very clean and tidy; the en suite bathroom was fine with a very good shower. I had a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed and the next morning was delighted to find the self-catering kitchen was very well stocked with bread, milk, butter and margarine, cereal, juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit, and even eggs and cheese! Just perfect for a delicious breakfast. A very good experience all round. Many thanks.

Great location but weird vibe in the rooms. It feels like an old people's home with a disabled toilet to match. Absolutely bare walls (no mirror or anything on the walls) and with a smell of a sanitised hospital dorm.
Don't get me wrong, it was cheap and near really nice places in Oxon but be prepared that it's an ultra-sanitised version of a room.

For one night this place is fine. It's very clean and the entry is coded so it doesn't matter when you arrive. Breakfast is in the room already there is also a fridge. There was plenty of food for breakfast.|The area is a bit strange amidst lots of old apartment blocks but very handy for Blenheim palace. Downside the bedroom was very small and the person near the wall has to climb over the other person to get out. Ideal for someone on their own but if you are a bigger person then this isn't suitable accommodation. As tree bed is high it's not suitable for those with a disability.

Great location for my purpose, safe and secure with coded entry on both house and room. Well stocked kitchen for breakfast, very informal help yourself and fresh food. As a solo female traveller liked the flexibility of being able to let myself in and out and anonymity of being able to keep myself to myself. Hairdryer in room which is very handy - could do with a small mirror in room 2 as only one in the wet room. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Had a disappointing visit to this B&B. The room was fairly clean although the shower needed more cleaning around the door area and clearly the skirting board behind the bed and under the bed hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The room was basic and a bit dormitory style but we could live with that.||||We thought it strange that the B&B provided cups tea/coffee in the room but no kettle. You had to walk downstairs to the kitchen with your cup to make a hot drink and then bring it back up. Not that good in the morning as you had to get dressed to make a pre breakfast drink. The little long life milks that had been left in our room were off - in fact completely solid and smelly.||||There was a central ceiling light installed without a shade and then 10 spot lights which made it very bright but there was no bedside light. The fridge was a bonus, The towels were white and of good quality and the beds comfortable. The bath mat and toilet mat we didn’t like at all and because of the colour (brown) - worried they weren’t clean so didn’t use them. ||||Obviously I appreciate the coded entry to the main door and bedroom doors as opposed to issuing keys but how often are the codes changed - could previous guests enter the building when they hadn’t booked? ||||Breakfast - never been to a B&B where you made breakfast yourself but understand the self service business model. I think the quality of the bread could have been better (cheap sliced) or at least a choice of white and brown. A few pastries would have been a good addition as it is advertise it as a continental breakfast. The fridge wasn't topped up on our second morning. The kitchen bin was filthy. ||||When we got back to the B&B at 9.30pm we both wanted a cup of tea. The milk in our room was off and there was no milk in the fridge in the kitchen which we thought was a bit mean - how much does a pint of milk cost? ||||The location of the property was ideal for the purpose of our visit (Blenheim Palace) and good to have parking right outside. Kidlington also has several good restaurants and pubs within walking distance.||||In all honesty we wouldn’t visit the B&B again and would not recommend the establishment to friends or family. It is probably more suited to tradesmen working away from home needing a basic room for the night, somewhere they can heat up a pizza in an evening and grab a bit of toast before setting off to work. ||||As soon as we arrived and before we even saw our room we were asked to leave a review on trip advisor which was a bit annoying.||||I did advise the owner of the above comments before writing this review and he has promised to rectify everything on an urgent basis. I consider my comments fair and true and am pleased the owner has taken my feedback in a positive manner.
