Pleasant stay on this hotel, no breakfast was the only thing, not really a problem as you can get something on the close by small town. The room was fine, double bed was pretty comfortable, sleep quality was also good as it is nice and quiet. TV was a little small compared to most hotels now. WiFi was very good, I like the nice large bath too, plus shower. So overall a good stay here.

Hi, my name is Jason Warner, and although I was unable to share my view, both positive and negative, about the Blaby Westfield Hotel on Google Maps, I was only able to give a short review; I wanted to give you an in-depth review of my stay at Blaby Westfield hotel.

Initially, my review would have been positive - the staff seemed friendly and helpful, and my room was of a good standard - nice, relaxing bath, tea and coffee-making facilities available in the room, and a decent size TV to watch TV.

Further into my state and on a continued basis the staff here soon reluctant to help I've asked for bin bags this has been ignored I tried to call the hotel using the mobile number on the sign at the front of the hotel reception and for some reason it wasn't connecting.

I've sent text messages to try and see if I can get someone to clean my room and a hoover, even if I do the cleaning myself as it needs doing.

I have no products and no money to get cleaning products so I'd have to use the hotels cleaning products to clean the room myself.

I'm aware that there are other guests in the hotel and this isn't a problem however it is awkward if I'm trying to get sleep and there are guests slamming doors, screaming and shouting just outside my window, outside and along the corridors often laughing, joking, chatting and swearing - so I feel sorry for those who may have children nearby.

The TV in my room although of decent quality bass level is stuck on very high and there is no option to change the base level down often making TV programs very very loud, there is no option to alter this and the treble and general volume levels as when I have it at volume number 7 - it feels like it is at level 50 there is not an option of fully function button that can turn the volume down and I feel there should be options to turn the volume down or the bass level as when I'm watching certain programs it is very loud and the volume and sound become tinny.
Have the bath panels fixed in place as I've had a small injury on my foot whilst getting out of the bath on the loose bath panel in the photo as provided, it might not be important for other people but to me things like that matter as when I'm getting into and out of the bath or shower, it really should be fixed in place and repaired. Staff at the hotel should answer requests that the radiator is not fully functioning it is lukewarm at best. This makes things very difficult when drying towels to use for several days in a row because the housekeeper isn't available I've asked several times can somebody clean my room and I was advised the housekeeping is closed someone will clean your room tomorrow I've been forced to take my towels to be washed at my friend's house at extra cost otherwise I'll be left with towels that are damp and smell.

I had a big problem here. At about 8.30 pm someone managed to open my bedroom door with a key card. I slammed it shut before they gained access, and a female voice apologised, but how could that happen? I didn't want to leave the room, or have anyone come to the room for obvious reasons, so didn't report it at the time. However, this is something that other lone female travellers need to know.|Also, no restaurant and no bar, even though advertised and still featured on the board outside. Bedroom was fine but bathroom fittings etc were dirty. No supper and no breakfast. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not.

Re Hotel provided for “a national company” the accommodation was unsafe, unfinished and unfit for purpose. ||To be clear; I have been in the construction industry for 33 years and I am currently the service delivery manager of 16 years with this company, accountable for the Responsive Repairs, maintenance and Voids properties for “a national housing provider”and “a national company” fire compliance work through our other FRA departments & Fire Safety work across the country.||The hotel in question Blaby Westfield House Hotel is truly an appalling hotel provided by Agiito web site options. On entering the car park, the front entrance windows blinds were hanging down off the windows, after I parked, the reception was to the side of the building. On entering the reception, I could smell and feel the dust in the air. There were patches of bare plaster on the walls where the walls had been repaired, I understand thing need repairing so I walk to reception and gave my reservation. I was greeted by the reception person who took my reservation and informed there was no breakfast as the chief was on holiday (I was informed at the time of booking there was no breakfast) therefore I asked is the chief back next week? to which the recreationist stated, "we don’t know he has been gone a long time". So now I am thinking what I continued my booking and received room number 102 which is situated in the main house building above the front entrance. After walking up and around several corridors through several fire doors which I guarantee are not certified under fire regulations (I am fully versed in the requirements for fire doors and fire safety of buildings). As I walked to my room again around another small corridor the hard-wired fire alarm had a yellow empty tile grouting bucket on the floor as I focused on the bucket, I then realised water was running into the bucket as I looked up it was running out of the fire alarm sensor into the bucket!!! I returned downstairs and informed the receptionist who said, " Yes it’s the water tank in the loft is leaking the man was meant to fix it last week but it’s still leak, and he hasn't returned yet." Therefore, there has been no working fire alarm at this hotel for over a week!!! Another breach of Fire Regulations and hotel safety regulations. I asked so when is the Fire Alarms going to be fixed? and the receptionist shrugged his shoulders and stated “I don’t know”!!!||The appalling condition and false advertising of this hotel doesn't stop at the complete failure of all Hotel fire Safety Regulations.||I was sent to the bar while the receptionist went to get what I can only assume was the manager, I was asked could I go down the ground floor corridor to the bar / restraint area. I walked down the corridor as requested to find myself in the front reception bar/restaurant area, yes where the blind are hanging off the windows, once on the inside looked like a building site!!! The receptionist then came down the corridor and said not this room it’s not finished yet it’s in here, taken down another corridor to a side room with again bare plaster repairs on the walls (this was meant to be the dining room and bar) I asked where is the restaurant? The receptionist who is now the bar person stated, "this is the restaurant" (6 semi prepared tables in the corner), ok !! where is the food severed? In the corner I'm looking at a semi cleaned stainless steel counter against the wall. The bar/reception person stated "the evening chief isn't in till 5.30pm so the is no food until then" I informed the receptionist bar person; I have a meal allowance for the evening can have a menu please? The bar/reception person stated " We don’t have any menus printed yet" ok how do I order food? The bar/reception person stated "the chief just asks you what you want, and he goes and gets it" I asked, gets it from where? if there is no menu, how do I order? The bar/reception person stated "We have lots of fresh food he cooks it all fresh" by this point I am in a state of disbelief that this Hotel is an Agito website option!!||I am then called to reception to discuss the meal allowance with the assumed hotel manager who inform me there is no meal allowance. I get the reservation booking on my computer and it clearly stated £25 meal allowance. The assumed manager then stated to me "I was informed on booking that there was no breakfast or evening meal allowances "to which I stated if I was informed there was no evening meal, I would not have booked this hotel!!|While at reception and nothing advertised on the website was close to being truthful or correct, I asked the website stated there is a gym here? assumed manager stated "there is no gym" what about the pool? " There is a pool but its close and not working".||Just to reiterate Blaby Westfield House hotel has - No Gym, No Pool, No onsite Food, No Menu and most of all this hotel is DANGEROUS with NO FIRE SAFETY!!!!||“a national company” - will be expecting a full refund for the Blaby Westfield House hotel and the difference in cost for the “a national hotel chain” provided should be absorbed by Agiito due to the appalling and disgraceful hotel advertised on your website. I am expecting an acknowledgement of receipt for this email by close of play today.

Stayed here for 1 night solo. It's not near the railway station, about £20 in a taxi. No one on reception when I arrived. You actually go down the right hand side of the building to find reception. No food whatsoever to be had so be prepared for that. Room was OK. No TV in mine but I wasn't bothered. It's OK but at £80 i think pricey for what you get. 2 star review for me.

BYER BEWARE!! DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL

It doesn't deserve even 1 star
Emailed less the 18 hrs before we were due to check in to say due to maintenance our rooms had been cancelled.
Expedia who we booked through were contact after the hotel failed to call us back as promised and they even chinned off Expedia!!!

Well thankfully we dodged this bullet as the awful room reviews had scared the stuffing out off us.

Expedia even gave a small amount of compensation due to the more expensive hotel we had to subsequently book

The hotels staff weren't professional or helpful at all they don't deserve the 1 star they need closed down!!

Just stayed here for a night. We waited for a while for an employee to show up at the front desk, they had a phone number to call for help which they didnt answer. I can see they are refurbishing the hotel and parts are under construction. The room we had was quiet but uncomfortable, the beds were stiff and the pillows sucked. The bathroom at 1st looked clean but further inspection we found the trash wasnt emptied and behind the toilet was gross.

Now the OYO Blaby Hotel. In would have given a higher score but they don’t yet have a restaurant. However they are soon opening a South Indian restaurant which will be a real improvement. The front of the hotel needs some renovation as do the garden areas around the car park but work seems to be underway. ||The staff were very friendly and helpful with our early check in. We had room 31 which is a family room. It was very big with a TV lounge area and double bed, a big ensuite bathroom and a separate area with two single beds. ||It was a bargain as we paid £90 for three of us. Although it doesn’t currently have a restaurant it is next to a Chinese restaurant and very close to the Old Vicarage pub which serves food plus several good cafes in Blaby who serve breakfast. ||There is also a well equipped gym in the hotel included in the room price. An absolute bargain.
