This hotel canceled my booking less than a week before I was supposed to stay here. I’m quite happy they cancelled looking at the awful state of some of the reviews I have read and pictures I have seen. The ‘reason’ for my booking was, and I quote what the customer support told me “because other people have paid more so yours has been cancelled”. How can booking a hotel 3 months in advance become a disadvantage to me?!? It is disgusting that a place like this is able to exist I think the cleaners need to go back on a training course. I hope this message reaches the correct and corrupt owner of this horrible establishment and they take action on their staffs poor cleaning, management and communication skills. I would stay as far clear from this hotel as humanly possible.

I stayed here as only a few minutes from bus station and I had an early coach pick up. It isn't a very nice area and to be honest I wouldn't recommend as a single female traveller. I agree it had more of a hostel feel rather than hotel. The room was OK but I locked my door and was glad to leave next morning. The young girl on reception was very sweet though.

Booked this hotel 3 months in advance, received all of the confirmation emails and pin codes to access the room. However less than one week before the booked date they have cancelled the reservation due to “unforeseen circumstances”. Spoke to someone on their contact number who advised they had overbooked and essentially other people had paid more so ours was cancelled. I find this absolutely disgusting that ours was cancelled due to us paying less for booking so far in advance so that others booking last minute and paying more can get priority. The customer service advisor was very rude and had poor communication. Would highly recommend not booking with this hotel.

Booked this hotel 3 months in advance however had the booking “cancelled” less than a week before. When contacting the hotels customer service I was told multiple times that my booking was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances which later resulted in them being overbooked but we paid less so they cancelled ours. However the hotel is still available to book just at a higher price. Booking.com still had my reservation as confirmed so I asked for an email or something else to confirm my booking was cancelled and that I would be getting a refund before making other arrangements to which I was sent an email asking if I wanted to cancel my booking.
I asked to speak to a supervisor over the phone to get to the bottom of this to be told no.
Horrendous customer service. Do not recommend.

As a solo female traveller, this hotel did not meet minimum standards of safety and cleanliness. I did not expect luxury for the price I paid, but I did expect to feel comfortable in the room. Unfortunately, the window could not even be closed, let alone locked from the inside. Whilst this is a small window, I expect to be able to have the choice of whether it remains open or closed, and I certainly expect to be able to fasten it closed. The room was so dusty I ended up struggling with my allergies. I checked in at 2pm, and left by 6pm, preferring to drive 3 hours home after the wedding I was attending rather than stay the night. I recommend the house keepers have a serious clean within the room, and they will soon see the unacceptable levels of dust, particularly around the television and extractor fan in the bathroom. The walls are filthy and the carpet is in disrepair. Again, I did not expect luxury, but surely there is a basic level of comfort and safety that every paying customer deserves / can expect.

Stayed here for one night while visiting family and exploring the town. Absolutely fantastic location, only a short distant walk into the centre - but in a quiet area so no disturbed sleep.
Rooms were brilliant for such a cheap price. Also the extra thought into the facilities was much appreciated. Tea and coffee refreshments, shampoo and body wash, towels, thick duvets, and two pillows!! Had an excellent night sleep here.
Only “negatives” (which did not hinder our time here at all) were: the bathroom was extremely small, and our room number 1 was actually next to room 13 which did confuse us at first when we approached room 14 next to 2 and 3. However our room was easy to find after this as we worked out the numbers had been swapped.
Overall we would stay here again as we found it absolutely fantastic for what we needed. And the staff we did come across were very friendly. Would 100% recommend!!

Good value for money being a budget hotel and a handy location near to all amenities.
The room was tastefully decorated in modern colours and had a supply of hot refreshments and toiletries included in the price.
I slept well which is unusual for me at home.
I liked the freshly refurbished shower room and new TV.
Thankyou to Cristina and the manager who were very pleasant and helpful.
I would certainly stay here again.
