Had a lovely lunch here today. The full English breakfast was very nice but what made the meal excellent was the service which was extremely polite and professional.

We also had a couple of cakes and they were very nice too. Would definitely like to go back next time we’re in Spalding.

We arrived at noon on a Wednesday and were asked if we had booked a table so I think it gets busy.

Bakery - 4/5. Great selection, although could offer more pastries & things such as sourdough. The selection is quite ‘bog standard’ as bakeries go. Cakes are generally a bit too sweet. The queueing situation needs revision, as it’s always hectic & you feel as though you’re in the way of staff coming up & down stairs constantly, even when the queue isn’t that busy.
Cafe - 3/5. Good range, average prices. Everything is done to a good standard, but nothing is amazing. Occasionally you’ll find a gem on their regularly rotating specials menu. Overall, staff are very pleasant.

I visited this shop today because I wanted something to have with a cup of tea and was pleasantly surprised by all the options available.
I went for the Crunchy cheesecake and also picked up an Apple Crumble. It's very hard to resist buying more because it all looks so good. The staff were very good and did very well managing the customers. I will return again.

Very good establishment providing freshly baked goodies to eat in or takeaway. Plenty of outdoor seating to the front on the pavement or you can sit inside upstairs. Be prepared for a queue first thing in the morning. I had a hot chocolate and a delicious lemon meringue. The staff were great, very friendly and they all threw themselves into the spirit of the Spalding Flower Festival. Their theme was Alice In Wonderland and there was a White Rabbit in the kitchen, a Queen Of Hearts at the counter and a great Mad Hatter taking orders upstairs. Well done all! Most enjoyable.

I mostly visit because I really adore their quant little café. The food is always excellent. Last time we went we had afternoon tea, you get so much and it all tastes amazing. The staff are attentive to the right amount to ensure you are looked after. The bakery has some nice baked goods recommend getting there early to get what you fancy before they sell out.

Purchased items for Christmas, white bread barely lasted day before going mouldy. Mince pies, look like cheap brand repackaged. Really disappointed this year, food not up to standard
