We had an unforgettable Iranian lunch there. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Friendly welcome, absolutely nice environment, and good and really quite nice quality food. 👌
I absolutely recommend this restaurant.Regarding parking, you should find on-street parking space, which we found quite easily. We paid less than £3 for 2 hours. I had Soltani Kabab, which demonstrated the talent of the chef. The Doogh had the nearest taste to the original one. Authentic Kabab. We spent less than £30 for food, drink, and tea.

Each dish was prepared with such care and attention to detail, truly a culinary delight.

We visited for a late lunch on a Sunday and sampled the Joojeh kabab, an absolute highlight. This chargrilled chicken kebab, served with saffron rice, yogurt, and a fresh salad on the side, was simply divine. The chicken was perfectly cooked and infused with a lovely smoky flavour from the grill, complemented beautifully by the fragrant saffron rice and the creamy yogurt. This dish alone is worth a visit.

The atmosphere complemented the experience beautifully. The space was warm and inviting, creating a cosy and relaxed environment perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. It felt comfortable and homely, yet with a touch of elegance that made the afternoon feel special.

Given our fantastic experience, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Whether you're looking for a spot to enjoy a quiet meal, celebrate a special occasion, or simply savour some excellent food in a lovely setting, this is the best place to eat Persian food close to Portsmouth. From the outstanding service to the exceptional food and the warm, inviting atmosphere, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. If you have the chance to visit, do not hesitate – you will not be disappointed.

The food was some of the best olive eaten. Very delicately spiced. Portion sizes were large. Staff were very friendly. Even the chef came to make sure our food was ok. Busy even for a Wednesday night. Will definitely be returning to this place, and thats travelling from Southampton. One of the best Iranian restaurants I’ve been to.

Had a killer dinner at this Persian spot last night—seriously, everything was on point! The food was hella tasty, and the vibe was super chill. The staff, especially the manager, were mad friendly and just awesome.
The Taftoon bread was crispy AF, and paired with that herby yoghurt, it was a chef's kiss. We got the sharer for two, but honestly, it could’ve fed three—so much food, and all of it bomb. Don’t miss the Kabab Koobideh, lamb shish, and chops—they’re legit.
If you’re looking for a place with delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and the friendliest staff ever, this is the spot! You won’t be disappointed.

We tried various starters, including the Taftoon (like a really light, excessively crisp Naan) with Humus, Dolma (stuffed vine leaves) and the not-to-be-missed Mirza Ghasemi (crushed aubergine, garlic, egg and tomato (wow!)). We shared the meat platter for four which was delicious and very filling. You'd never know it from the front but there's an amazing garden out back - this place is evolving from a cafe into a really outstanding restaurant and it's well worth checking it out.

In the evening the cafe becomes a superb restaurant. Super food. So tasty. Generous portion of food. The tempura prawns so good. You can tell it’s homemade Excellent service. Friendly staff Definitely going back.

Amazing food!
The best persian food in Hampshire.
The chef came out asking if all good!
Service is punctual and the place is lovely.
Has a garden as well, perfect for summer evenings.
I would highly recommend it
