Good value for money. It’s a b+b we chose for overnight stay during Isle of Wight festival. It was clean, fairly plain furniture and furnishing - but plumbing and shower worked and looked better than proper hotels. It had everything we needed for overnight stay - and the cooked breakfast deserved more than 5 stars :)||Remember, it’s a fairly simple b+b. Don’t expect a luxury holiday stay!

Lovely proprietor so helpful but bed mattress was really, really firm and the room was overlooking a busy main road and the double glazing did nothing to cut out the noise. Stayed 6 nights and had toilet flushing issues a few times. Property somewhat tired and too far out of Ryde to make it a relaxing enjoyable holiday. Breakfast was OK but not full English, so went for our own cut-back version as usual expected items were not on offer.

Very clean rooms. Plenty of free parking on street. Only 5 minutes drive into Ryde.

The breakfast was great. 2x bacon, 1 egg, beans, 1/2 tomato, toast and a selection of jams, marmite, cereal and fruit. None of it tasted greasy which was a pleasant surprise. Great start for a days walk!

Breakfast is served at 8.30am.

Only minor niggle was that the curtains are ultra thin so I was waking up at 5.30am due to it being so bright! Will happily come back but will ask for a room on the other side!

Don't expect to be watching TV in your room though... Its ultra small!

Great breakfast! Very clean accommodation and lovely hosts.|Went to visit friends and didn't know the island at all. We must have got lucky because it was such a nice place to stay. The main thing I remember is being taught how to cook fried eggs that never stick (and they never do!)

Carol and Chris are so welcoming and accomodating. We asked to check in 4 hours early so we could go to a festival and it was no problem. The room was ready and we were invited in straight away. The rooms are perfectly clean and tidy, with an ensuite. Breakfast is freshly cooked, plenty of tea, coffee, juice and toast etc. Nothing is too much trouble at all! On the morning we left we were given a lift to the hovercraft! Wouldn't hesitate staying here again. Thank you so much

This is a decent sized B&B situated up a fairly steep hill from Ryde Esplanade. On arrival I was greeted by friendly host, who is a smoker. I found the smokey air to be a bit off putting to be honest. Shown to my room, which was clean and OK. Only two small towels though, and just soap and shower gel. I guess I could have asked for shampoo and a hand towel. There was a hair drier in the room which was good., though no long mirror. B&B only has showers, no baths. Also just a dining room, no lounge to sit in. Had some trouble with WiFi access code but we got this sorted. Breakfast was good, and included in price. The hosts were helpful and also very flexible which I was grateful for. When it came to paying for the room, I was told they only accept cash or cheque (who carries around cheque books these days?). I had to go up the road to a cash machine which charges £1.60 for a cash withdrawal! All in all the stay served my purpose and undoubtedly would have been better if it hadn’t rained all the time!
