We wasn't planning on staying a extra day so I needed to find somewhere that was not to expensive, park view is a lovely guest house that offers off road parking , early access to the room which was compact but very nice. They couldn't do enough for us and breakfast was well worth the money would definitely use again .

You can't beat it for price. Yes it's old fashioned but good host, comfortable bed, loads of hot water and a good breakfast all for £60 a night. Oh and free parking all 5 mins from the centre of York.

Great proximity to city centre with free parking. ||Room was clean and comfortable with tea & coffee, water glasses and a fridge however the shower didn’t have a cold setting. ||Breakfast of cereal, toast, and full English with orange and apple juice. No dairy free options however there is a co-op across the road so we picked up our own. ||Staff were very helpful.

Short walk from train station. Free parking. Small comfortable room with tiny ensuite.Very clean .Small breakfast room. Incredible light fittings!!!!! Good value.

Nice and cosy, check in was simple and straight forward.|The rooms are compact but adequate, we didn’t have food in the guesthouse so we are unable|To comment but the location was great, just a short walk to the city centre.|Added bonus of free parking.

Absolutely shocking, filthy, rude staff absolutely horrible experience! Do not book!! Staines on the sheets, weird looking hairs in the covers, you get the gist. Do not visit this hotel it is a must avoid!! Absolutely horrible experience, and when issue mentioned told to book else where!! Do not waste your money!

Worst stay going! Staff extremely rude! Rooms below par. A very strange white stain on the wall and floor. When confronted the hotel they tell you to go elsewhere. They are scammers and take your money without refund. Officially the worst stay ever.

This was our 2nd visit to this guest house, allways polite and can't do enough, the room was lovely, tea coffee, TV, lovely bathroom, full English for breakfast, cereals toast bed was very comfy and slept well. Room was warm, lovely big shower.
