We have just had 2 weeks at Cresswell Towers in a 6 berth caravan. Very spacious caravan for the 2 of us, we wanted the extra space. Lots of storage, plenty of clothes hangers, lovely shower, comfortable bed.||The kitchen facilities were very good, gas oven and grill, 4 gas burners. The grill wasn’t as good as my electric grill at home but I only used it once. Combi microwave was excellent. Full size fridge and large freezer. Plenty of crockery and utensils.||Flat screen T.V. was ok, not that we used it too much! WiFi was ok for emails. Central heating was excellent.||I used the Self Laundry a couple of times, located behind Reception. £4.50 for a wash, £2.50 for the tumble dryer, use your own detergent. Wish dog owners weren’t allowed to wash dog blankets in the machines! ||Staff at Reception were always very helpful and friendly. ||My only criticism is that the site is very dark at night, not ideal when walking to your caravan after dark. You need to take a torch!|Having stayed here before, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom, disabled caravan in October last year in 2023. A wheelchair can access the bathroom, hallway and living/dining area. It can fit in the centre of bedroom 2, which has a single bed on each side but you will need to reverse out of the room. In the main bedroom the wheelchair can access the room but that's about it. You can't get to any side of the bed.
Kitchen counter, cooker and sink are lower and accessible for wheelchair user.
Reserved parking spot for this caravan and ramp access.
We enjoyed our stay here at Cresswell Towers and loved Cresswell Beach which is nearby. It was a nice experience and the beds were comfortable. The rain is loud when you're trying to sleep and you can hear conversations of people passing by.
The door handle inside the bathroom was left on the toilet tank and was at times hard to slide the door open. Also, the bathroom door had a gap so your family could potentially see you in the shower, which had no shower curtain!(thankfully that didn't happen to us 😂). There was another gap with the main bedroom door and 1 chair had a loose seat cushion.
It was a decent place to rest and chill after a day out and to spend time with the family. We didn't use any other facilities here.

We had a fantastic holiday at Cresswell Towers thanks to the inspirational and charismatic entertainment team, namely; Ryan, Louise and Sally. Their energy, passion, talent, charisma and effort was outstanding. Nothing was ever too much for them and they went above and beyond for all the children at Starland Krazy. They work brilliantly as a team, bounce off each other and the quality of the entertainment this season has really ramped up due to the talent of Ryan, Louise and Sally and Cresswell is very lucky to have them. The halloween disco was amazing too! ||The caravan park itself was fantastic. Small, intimate and in a beautiful location. The lifeguards such as Kerr in the pool are also excellent and interact with young people brilliantly! ||Due to the fantastic team, we have already booked to come back again next year!

We stayed as a family of 4 during half term and ended up coming home early as we couldn’t sleep another night there with 2 young children.||I’m not sure if we were just unlucky but the accommodation was terrible. You always expect basic accommodation with Park Dean but not mouldy, damp and dirty. ||As soon as we arrived a bag of old bedding was left outside the front door which we had to move to the side to enter and remained there for 4 days even though a number of staff passed it. ||Instantly smelt like damp when we opened the door. ||Main bedroom radiator wasn’t working. Which once reported was fixed very quickly. The maintenance team were efficient. But as that was fixed, the radiator in the twin room for my little boy then stopped working. The mention of mould was not addressed even though it was witnessed. They couldn’t see why it was getting wet walls. No alternative accommodation was offered. ||We didn’t sleep in the main bedroom due to the amount of mould all around the skirting boards and behind the bed board! The walls were wet through even with the windows open. But on the 3rd night I had to with one of my children due to no heating now in their room. ||My children kept waking up with wet pillows from the damp running down the walls (with windows open). ||The fridge and freezer were dirty. The cupboard that held the pots and pans etc. was lacking a shelf on the bottom so it was just all on the floor which was really dirty. Meaning we didn’t want to cook with anything from there. |||Everything just needed maintaining better/replacing. ||So disappointing as it spoiled our trip a little and meant we had 1 less day and night there.

Nice clean park. On the small side and probably best for younger children bur still a nice park. Small amusement arcade and restaurant, with even smaller showbar but in line with the size of the park. Prices for food ate as youd expect on a holiday park and food was tasty enough. Pool was clean but really need hooks insude the cubicles to hang your dry clothes on while you change! |Beach is close by but not accessed direct from park. The local area is lovely. |We stayed in a Hylton 2 bed caravan. Compact but modern with everything necessary for a self catering break.

Ryan ||Louise||Sally the Entertainment crew. ||||Kerr the Lifeguard. ||What can I say. What a team they have up at Cresswell Towers. I wish I could everyone even down to Mick the barman but I don’t know everyone’s names. This park always clean, tidy and very welcoming. All the staff go above and beyond but the Entertainment team are just phenomenal. They really make an effort to make the children feel special and the entertainment is perfect for everyone. ||Kerr is brilliant with everyone who speaks to him and he’s brilliant at interacting with the children in the pool. Especially if they’re a little nervous. ||We return to Cresswell as much as we because it has such a welcoming and friendly group of staff. ||We always choose our caravans but they are always spotless and have everything you could need. ||Thank you for the memories. 🥰

I must say a big well done to all staff at this resort, reception staff were very helpful. Bar staff worked really well together keeping the entertainment area clean and tables clear, really quick service, but I must say out of everything the food was amazing. Sure not cheap but also not cheap and cheerful, good quality and well worth the price well done chef, thanks hole team

Horrible and dirty…. Avoid Cresswell!!!! Arrived on Friday to the most awful caravan ever, there was black mould over the walls, comb webs on the celling like the van hasn’t been clean. I went to reception and complained and nothing got done about it, Joanne her name was called rude and doesn’t seem to be bothered about her job!!!!! Swimming pool small and dirty could do with a good scrub! Boathouse restaurant freezing and the food overprice and not cooked through properly, the food was freezing had to send it back and they demanded a new one!! Won’t be back will try other parkdean sites!!!
