Absolutely brilliant 7 days away 👏 |We are only 30 miles from home and wanted somewhere local for my husband who has recently become disabled and if needed could go home , he loved it , we had an accessible caravan which had everything he needed , it was superbly clean and comfortable, the caravan was easy to manoeuvre about . Location was superb , food restaurants were value for money and really tasty. We didn't do the entertainment this time but did go too bingo which was hard to hear as obviously it followed children's entertainment and they still wanted to have fun so maybe review the scheduled bingo time when little ones off to bed , all in all just a fabulous holiday and made better by great weather, good bus stop outside so leave the car and go explore , loved it so much we're already booked for 2 more next year , 😀

It was mine and my children’s first family get away as I am a single mum and I have three children with autism! |The caravan was spotless was up to the highest standard had everything we needed! Boiler wasn’t working but wa fixed within an hour!|Reception team especially Emma are amazing she made me feel proud of myself for taking the trip and reassured me that if I need absolutely anything to just go to her!|The entertainment and the entertainment staff are brilliant so friendly my daughter absolutely loved it and they really do make everyone feel welcome!! There was a young girl with brown hair who sang a few songs in the Sunday night and she was brilliant!!|The shop onsite had a bit of everything lots of variety lots of gifts and souvenirs at very reasonable prices also friendly staff who were also so welcoming and helpful!|The only bad thing was the pool opening times but honestly didn’t bother us.|I would highly recommend coming to this park! We really enjoyed ourselves we felt safe and comfortable , welcome and can’t wait to come back at some point!!

Great value accomodation at a very reasonable price for the quality of the location and facilities available. The park is beautiful, a fair amount to do on site for little ones on a rainy day, and the staff were all very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. A surprising highlight was how clean and tidy our accommodation was! The housekeeping team really did a great job and even checked in before/after our stay to check it was all okay. Highly impressed!

We booked this holiday on a whim, we normally go to West Wales. But we’d had a couple drinks at Christmas and thought ‘Let’s go somewhere else for a change!’
Then we read some of the reviews and started to panic a bit.
But do you know what? Everything was lovely, the caravan was clean & spacious, fully equipped with everything we needed, the staff were really friendly, special mention to the lady in the shop, she was so bubbly. The meals we had in the restaurant were well portioned, beautifully presented and served with a smile. Prices did not seem excessive at all, considering it is a holiday venue.
All in all, a great week, and we will be coming back!

We were made to feel welcome straightaway by the reception team. We arrived at the caravan, which had breathtaking views of the coast, it was clean, the beds were made ready.|It had everything we needed. The site is small and quiet. The restaurant was good, we ate in there twice and were satisfied both times. We had a fabulous week. I would recommend this site to anyone.

We have came here 2 years in a row. First year accomodation was perfect and we loved the caravan. When we arrived this year and went into our caravan it was really dirty. Crumbs on the carpet, stains on the shower and sofa and the bathroom light switch cord was black from dirt. The window handle was also broken. Once informing the staff they were extremely helpful, especially the maintenance man who helped us move to a different caravan due to the uncleanliness of this one. Entertainment on the evenings is great for families and the staff that do the entertainment were lovely. Unsure if we will be returning.

Great caravan, tidy, clean and located very close to main hub. On arrival there was linen but no toilet roll. As a rule a really nice holiday and location is great for this end of Cornwall. Issues: you book for swimming we tried within 1hr of arrival not a slot free for our entire holiday. However we were told they keep 26 spare walk in slots for each session. I swam most days and it was only busy on one which means people are multi booking and not using it! So that system does not work! We were in for ten days and evening entertainment was okay during weekends but during the week the bar was calling last orders at 2130 or 2145 which is not really what you expect from a holiday venue! In all Staff were great, the place located well and facilities good. We would use again at some point.

Cons:
Food on the floor and sofas upon arrival at our caravan. Easier to clean myself than wait with 2 very small children for staff.
Heating not working but this was fixed immediately upon raising the issue, very impressed with the maintenance team.
Van was advertised as having a washer dryer, and the instruction manual was there for it, but at some point this had been replaced with a single washer which made things a little harder with no on site launderette to use for drying washing.
Pre-booked the miniature golf but ended up abandoning our booking as the course was unmaintained and several holes completely under water.

Pros:
Lovely area, Looe town a very short drive away, and many other days out within a reasonable distance.
Very fast response to a raised issue from the reception and maintenance teams.
Entertainment staff enthusiastic and good with the kids, putting on the usual program from Parkdean.
Bouncer on the door in the entertainment venue ensuring that no children were able to get out of the main doors to the car park as people entered.

Other:
The birds... what on earth was going on there Hundreds of... crows? roosting in the surrounding trees, like a horror film at times!
