Jim and Marion are wonderful hosts. The cottages are cozy and well equipped. There's a wind and rainproof gazebo in the middle of the farm, just perfect for sitting in the evening with a glass of wine (or a cuppa in the morning).
You're surrounded by sheep and hills.
It's also just a 5 min drive to linlithgow station, where you can get a train into Edinburgh or Glasgow.
All in all- a perfect holiday location!

I have just returned from visiting relatives in Linlithgow. I stayed at Parkley Farm Cottages and was very impressed. This property offers 5 star accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful working farm. Three days wasn’t a long enough stay. Every convenience was thought of and included. The bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing. The kitchen had it all and was lovely. The lounge was very homely. The owners are a lovely welcoming couple. Next time I will book for a longer stay. I cannot recommend Parkley Farm enough.

We stayed with our daughter and grandchildren and had a fabulous time. Great communication when booking and nothing was too much trouble when we were there.||It was a real home from home with everything you could possibly need and more.||Location is ideal for exploring Edinburgh and other areas. Train station close by with free parking. The views from the cottage are absolutely stunning. Super barbecue area which we used for a birthday celebration. The grandchildren loved using the enclosed football field. A walk to the fishery was a bonus too. All I all couldn’t recommend highly enough. Will definitely be planning a return trip!

We had an extended stay here due to a boiler problem at home. Marion and Jim were kindness personified. Nothing was too much trouble and the “ cleaning fairies” do an amazing job. These cottages are equipped with everything you need. The furnishings are top notch and the surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful. We would recommend these cottage to couples and families who want to explore the surrounding area. Thank you very much.

We hired the place directly through the owner, Marion and James, mid-August for 3 nights. We had excellent contact before and during our stay. The accommodation complies with the description and despite the rainy weather we enjoyed our stay. The cottages are comfortable, a bit rustic but charming.||This would have deserved 4 or 5 stars if I would not have discovered that the owners refuse the idea of recycling the waste (even the glass !). There is only one bin at the farm. ||After insisting Marion mentioned the existence -but not the location- of a recycling point where we went the night before living, after a long time to find it (It is at the back of the Sainsbury's car park in Linlithgow).||One missing star for not recycling, and one less for not helping us to do so.||And I will certainly not come back...

I would highly recommend this idyllic spot in the beautiful countryside. Cottage number 3 was first class, it has everything you can think of and is equipped and presented to a very high standard, it also has an outside barbecue which is brilliant. It is a very quiet peaceful location and the views are awesome. I would also like to thank Marion and Jim for accommodating me at the very last minute and for taking the time to make sure my every need was met, the service from these two hosts was outstanding. A great place to take time out or you can visit some of the most beautiful surrounding areas that are full of life and steeped in history.

We stayed at Parkley for an extended stay having relocated from England. Jim, Marion and James were perfect hosts - nothing too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was lovely, home from home, very cozy, in a very peaceful setting and spotlessly clean.
