We booked in for a spa day with afternoon tea. The spa is a nice spa but a little in need of some TLC. Pool nice and hydrotherapy pool nice but jacuzzi not working and steam room off. Sauna on but again in need of update. We still enjoyed the hour or so spent there. Afternoon tea and service was fantastic. Everything fresh and dainty (just as they should be on afternoon tea) sandwiches and scones were delicious. Really good afternoon tea in a nice restaurant and both waitresses were brilliant 🤩

The room was a little small and a little dated, it's been years since I slept in a single bed.
Dinner was lovely, as was the evening service provided by the staff.
The gym was well equipped and in a very acceptable condition, as was the pool.
The continental breakfast was OK. I was on site early, so I didn't manage to get a hot one.
Priced at the restaurant was very good indeed.

I hsve stayed at this hotel many times in the last 6 months due for work purposes.||Negatives - it's a little run down and the spa always seems to have something broken. ||Positives - the beds are comfortable, the food is nice and the biggest positive is how accommodating the staff are. Everyone I interact with from reception, to the waiters and the cleaners can never do enough for you. I always feel safe and comfortable (often travel alone). If the staff are made aware of a late finish, they take a pre order of food and make sure it's ready for my return. I've never stayed somewhere where the staff generally care and are all happy to help. This massively outweighs the small negatives here. ||I look forward to coming back 🙂

Very homely and comfortable hotel with a lovely spa pool. We had an excellent breakfast and noted the interesting and well priced brunch and dinner menu. The beds were very comfortable and the room had everything you needed. The staff were friendly and attentive, plenty of parking was a bonus.

My experience at the parkmore was definitely a great experience highly recommended. Lovely spa and rooms were always clean.
Big shout to Jess who’s customer service was amazing despite my picky food requests, always had a smile on her face and always went that extra mile to insure my requests were met. Definitely deserves a bonus for putting up with me for 3 weeks 😀

Staff are amazing, James was incredibly helpful, Lilley & Milly are just lovely, kind, provide excellent service & were great waitresses.
Our 50th anniversary of starting our nurse training was a wonderful weekend. Great food on Friday night in the birdcage restaurant, all served promptly and together, even though the booking grew from 4 to 11 in 30 minutes. Full English, lots of toast & good coffee made for a great start to the day.
The hotel is looking a little tired in places but prices are good, the private room was just right for our event, the 3 course meal was exceptional. Whether it was roast beef, risotto or salmon all guests were impressed. Although portions were huge. Sticky toffee pudding was spot on.
everywhere is toasty warm, shower was strong & hot, room was comfortable.
The staff recruiter should be very proud because the team are absolutely guest focused. Thank you

Went for Sunday lunch. Have been before a couple of years ago and it wasn’t great to be honest however this wasn’t booked by me and I was meeting family. WOW what a difference. Literally the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had. The beef is to die for. Pink and melts in the mouth. Service from Jess was amazing. Would go every Sunday if I could. Really can’t believe the turnaround. Really need to go back and try the normal menu
