This B+B was comfortable, clean and just wonderful. Our room was very spacious with loads of storage space and even a settee. Two bathrobes were hanging on the back of our door for our use. The beds were comfortable and there was an electric heater for extra warmth, plus a hot water bottle if needed. A delicious breakfast was served at a beautifully laid table, with napkin rings, what looked like crystal glasses for fruit juice and a lovely unusually shaped tea service. The house is just delightful with it's Victorian features but with up to date bathroom plumbing.

Quiet, friendly, tasty, convenient modernized Victorian Bed & Breakfast!||The location is quiet...facing a park, Brian the owner and his sister who helps out are||friendly. One of the best things are the local guides Brian keeps our for visitors AND bus schedules, etc. The food is ample and tasty, smoked fish for breakfast upon request, and||the rooms have water kettles for hot beverages. The landings have honor-system snacks and things like aspirin and sewing needles. Good selection of books, mags, tapes etc. The rooms are over-the-top gorgeous, very Barbara Cartland, Upstairs/Downstairs, but with modern plumbing. You can walk quickly to Old Town Hastings without paying the price of an Old Town B&B! For Foyle's War fans, too.

Always a warm welcome from Brian. Parkside is spotlessly clean and a beautiful house. The room has everything we could need and a very comfortable bed.

Breakfast is fresh and well cooked. We love coming back to stay.

Brian the owner is a lovely owner making you feel right at home straight away there are drinks and snacks available on landing for very good prices using an honesty box approach , there are also a good selection of DVDS to borrow if your stuck in on a rainy evening also Brian cooks a mean full English the house is right opposite the park which offers beautiful place to visit in the summer and lovely view all year round .

We luckily found this beautiful place a few years and would not go anywhere else in Hastings, all the rooms are so beautiful and spacious with everything one could ask for, exceptionally clean throughout, excellent breakfast and terrific value, on top of all that Brian the owner is kind, considerate and a really lovely man......thank you for our wonderful stays with you Brian, we will see you again very soon..............................
