Beautiful house with stunning rooms and so much space for the whole family. The gardens and grounds are so lovely, we enjoyed walks, used the hot tub and read our books on sunny afternoons. The hosts are warm and friendly and always happy to help with any requests or assistance.

Beautiful house and location. Lots of history and stunning grounds.

We spent a week having a family get together. Slept 15 of us - 9 adults and 6 children + a dog.

Heaps of space and very comfortable. Gardens were great for lawn games and for the kids to run around. Table tennis in the outside barn and a small pool table indoors meant there was never a lack of things to keep you amused!

Hot tub was lovely to help relax from all the kids running around.

<10mins to Holsworthy <20mins to Bude and the beeches Highly recommend this spot if you have a big group and it’s dog friendly!

Beautiful house and grounds with lots of history. It fit our party of 12 comfortably. The grounds were full of wildlife and perfect for walking our dog around. House has various rooms to relax and unwind. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms are spacious nicely decorated in a vintage style. Central heating and water pressure was great throughout the house. There was a barn full of outdoor games which we made use of on the large front lawn. The hot tub was a nice treat. Shops are nearby. Bude and other coastal areas are just a short drive away. And Exmoor Zoo is further but still possible as a daytrip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a stunning location for a family get- together or Wedding. The house is stooped with history and the grounds are beautiful. So much fresh air and the greenest green you will ever see! Super friendly staff and great location within easy reach of Bude and lovely little town of Holsworthy. Shockingly affordable for a large group celebration, a real gem in the crown of the Devon countryside

Great place to get away and relax! Our little piece of tranquility that has kept us and our friends coming back every year for the last 11 years; enjoying good times, good laughs and perhaps a few glasses of something!! The kids have grown up coming here and equally love it!
