What a lovely home. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, large well equipped kitchen , plenty of room for the children & adults, flexible check in / out (we were extremely late due to traffic but Jonathan really understanding) and location easily accessible. Will definitely book again when in the area. Family was really happily with the place.

Having read a couple of what was said to be relevant reviews, I wondered whether to book a stay at this property. However, the negative reviews were far outweighed by the positive 5* reviews, so I went ahead and booked it. I am pleased I did and we all had a great time. The place is very comfortable and very well managed - very clean and excellently prepared. It is not a party house - but you're advised of this before you book - which was made very clear in booking.
Having now stayed, I can see why. I could not fault the place - and everyone in my party thought the same - we had no problem, no one had to resort to sitting on the floor (unlike a previous stay in another property). The beds were comfortable, even the special guest beds. All in all, a great place to stay at a great price!

I was looking for an interesting and restful place to stay for a weekend escape from the pressures of London and The Parsonage House certainly fitted the bill. It is a stunning historic house set in beautiful countryside surroundings. The booking process and communication throughout was exemplary. It was a perfect weekend and I will certainly be returning. Highly recommended!

We had the most amazing stay here! The house is absolutely gorgeous, clean and fully equipped. Both Jonathan and Gary were very helpful. Gary met us to hand over the keys and ensure we were happy with everything and even suggested some places to visit in the local area. Their is also lovely walking trails seconds from the house. We were a large group and both Jonathan and Gary were very accommodating to this, it is also brilliant value for money!!! Would 100% stay again, me and my friends are already discussing when we would next stay!

8 of us have just come back from a lovely stay at Parsonage House. What a stunning building and location. This is not a hotel experience- it comes with all the quirks of an old listed residential home, but that makes it all the more charming. Expect to wrap up warm, be careful with furnishings, and stare at great art, records and books!
Well equipped with cooking bits, blankets, little soaps, etc. We will certainly be staying here again.

Me and my friends had a wonderful stay here - we couldn't have picked a better house. The property is beautiful and perfect for a weekend getaway. The host and his housekeeper were very obliging and friendly - we would come back in a heartbeat.

Been to stay at this house 6 times now and booked to stay again later this year.
The house is lovely and has a lovely feel that makes you feel at home, so much so, that I feel at home when I walk through the door.
The owner and his team have always been super helpful, when any issue has arisen, I cannot fault their service.
You can tell this is a family home and is well looked after. I would recommend to a visit for anyone.
