This is such a charming hotel. On arrival we received a warm welcome and offered help with our luggage.(Many years since any hotel has offered help with our luggage).|Our room with doors onto the gardens was perfect, as we took our dog, Bertie with us.|The grounds are spectacular. A lovely lawn with tables for drinks. A beautiful garden also with pond and rose covered arches. Plus a fabulous out door pool. There is also an indoor pool and gym.|A cosy bar and lounge. |Excellent service and delicious evening meals.|We liked it so much we've already booked to go again.

Our first visit back to the Passford House for many years and little had changed in terms of quality and service. We had our two spaniels with us so booked a dog friendly room. These are on the ground floor and have a convenient lobby area outside the bedrooms which leads straight out onto the garden. Dinner was excellent, the food was of very high quality and the staff were very friendly without being overbearing. Very comfortable lounges with a real country house feel. Just a couple of minor niggles. The breakfast is served buffet style which means the food sits in warming cabinets and is not as hot as if it had been freshly cooked and the fried eggs were hard. A hotel of this quality should do better than that. The other niggle was no charging points in the room for phones/tablets, an unforgivable omission in this day and age. The hotel is not cheap and these little things need addressing.

Lovely hotel in a great setting for exploring the new forest. Breakfast & dinner we ate were both high quality & tasty.

Nice spacious rooms with good heating & large bathrooms.

The grounds are superb and well kept, lovely warm indoor pool & nice tennis court we used.

What makes this hotel extra special are the staff - everyone we had contact with was friendly & helpful and nothing was too much trouble for myself , my wife & kids.

Highly recommended & looking forward to our next stay.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting with private gardens and wonderful private lounges. Quiet and peaceful, nice pool and sauna. Best bit of this Hotel is the staff.... kind, attentive, nothing too much trouble we imediately felt valued and cared for. Cant recommend this place enough.... their attention to detail is really quite amazing. They care and we had an amazing stay .... THANK YOU 😊

We visited Passford househotel for family afternoon teato celebrate our mums 60th birthday. |From the initial enquiry we got a quick response, and the team really went out of their way to make the day special. |We were planning a table in the garden but it was a bit windy so on arrival the team helped us set up up the blue room which we had private, which also had a connecting sunny courtyard. |The afternoon tea and service were perfect.|We are looking to go back soon to enjoy the outdoors pool and hopefully stay.|Thank you to the team

Comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Lots of different rooms to enjoy and lovely garden. There are not many places I would go to twice but this is one I would love to go to again. Delicious afternoon tea and help yourself breakfast therefore no waiting to be served.

Initial impressions were fantastic and the service was excellent in getting us to our rooms and taking our bikes to a safe, secure place opposite the hotel, (I'll come back to that later). Our room was up a few flights of stairs, fine as we are pretty fit, into an attic room, quite small but otherwise fine we thought. Very hot overnight, little ventilation, no fan and bathroom window does not open. The highlight was the evening meal, very good food and lovely attentive staff, a real credit t themselves. Back to the bikes, we had planned a ride over to IoW and had told reception several times we would need our bikes out for 6.30-6.45. Long story short the overnight porter could not find the correct key and we did not get our bikes until 7.25 with a ferry deadline of 7.40. Over an hour waiting around for this to happen, we did make the ferry but it was only just, 2-3 minutes later and it would have left without us. I was really annoyed that this communication from day shift to night shift had not been properly sorted, more so as we had travelled 200 miles to do this trip. Ironically if I had booked a Premier Inn I could have take my bike into my room overnight and not had any of this stress.

We were staying here for work for one night before leaving early the next morning. Great location within the new forest. Super friendly team on reception. The rooms are a tad dated, but do the job for what you need. A lovely selection of amenities such as local shortbread and bottled water
