The perfect neighbourhood place. I don't live locally and was only stopped by for breakfast but it was really lovely. The food was great, the service was so friendly and it was amazing to be in a place run by people who love it. I wish I could come by more often. If you have the chance to stop by, absolutely do it's worth your time and money.

I came here with my Mum for lunch & it was absolutely delicious. We had the Chicken Salad which was amazing & so fresh & tasty. We also had the steak sandwich which was cooked perfectly. High quality ingredients, fabulous flavour in every mouthful & generous portions.
The service was also great & we will be back as the all day breakfasts looked great aswell! Highly recommend.

Me and my wife have come to this cafe as a celebratory breakfast and we were not disappointed, the staff serve their customers quickly and with a smile!

The food itself was astonishing and you could tell care was put in to every part of the meal they had prepared for you and it has not just been cooked in a cold machine like kitchen, but in a kitchen where the cooks care about the food they are making.

All in all I will definitely be returning to Paul’s at no 41 and hope the business stays for years to come!

Never been here before I was recommended to try it by someone else who goes regularly. I wasn’t disappointed.

Paul and his staff are lovely hosts.

On my visit, I had the full English Breakfast which from memory included: sausage, bacon, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, home made hash brown, home made baked beans, scrambled eggs, black pudding and toast. I skipped the black pudding and had extra mushrooms instead.

Laté was really nice with great tasting coffee.

They don’t rush with your order because they make it so fresh and well so, do be prepared for that. Even so, we didn’t wait for more than about 20 minutes.

My Guide Dog was made most welcome and even offered a sausage which, for his sake, I had to politely decline. Lovely gesture though.

Paul said the cafe can get busy at times which I would say is testament to the fact that people come and don’t mind waiting to get good service.

Went for the wife’s birthday breakfast with the kids. Straight away the friendliness of the staff is noticeable and soon after you can see the passion they have for making sure the food that is served is not arbitrary is evident.
Mine was all cooked to perfection and the scrambled eggs I’ve heard about in other reviews stood out. The kids had the pancakes which my eldest scored 7.85 / 10 which is a win btw. The coffees were also very nice. I’m not 100% sold on the ambiance but this is not nearly enough not to recommend Paul’s. Oh before I forget the wife said her vegan sausage was the best she’s had. She is not vegan though so not sure how many she has had ?

Stopped in for a late lunch today, what a lovely little find!! Have been past a few times but usually when closed. Staff were so attentive and friendly as soon as we arrived. Lovely menu with lots of choice, had a four egg omlette which was lovely, cooked to order and arrived really quickly. Looking forward to coming back and working my way around the menu, thank you!!!

I was impressed with the quality of the food served here, everything was tasty and fresh. Definitely a new place to explore and try their menu. Delicious Eggs Royale and really good Mocha. I recommend booking in advance as it’s a small restaurant and usually really busy.

We love Paul’s! Go there very regularly. Always delicious food and great friendly service from Paul and the gang. Their coffee is delicious and we love getting a bag to also have it at home!

Came here for my bday brunch a few weeks ago and Paul and the team went above and beyond to make it a special event for me - didn’t expect it at all but it was such a great time. Thanks guys!!
