Such a beautiful place. You have to book the table. £5 per each person for one hour. There are just two tables are child-friendly: table 9 is for 2 persons and table 10 is for 3-4 persons. 10 beautiful cats live in the cafe. You can touch, play, but you are not allowed to feed them. Nice coffee, nice chocolate brownie. There are few parking places near the cafe, but you have to be lucky to find a free one?

What an amazing place! So friendly and welcoming. Their accommodation for the disabled, both physical and mental is superb. I suffer with FND and have an autistic 12 year old daughter. We were both made to feel so at home and supported. The staff are so knowledgeable about the cats and the new addition of kittens. Honestly, one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences of my life. I can't wait to come back again. I just can not decide which beautiful feline is my favourite? I will have to keep coming back to enjoy the wonderful food and drinks whilst I decide.
I genuinely can not recommend this place enough! Plus, they have fantastic merchandise to take a piece of this haven home with you and all money goes back to these beautiful rescue cats who call here home x

The food is genuinely delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality! The actual café has such a comfy cozy vibe and we loved being able to cat-watch whilst we enjoyed our meal 🙂

We had a lovely time at the Pause cat cafe on our trip to Bournemouth. The staff were really friendly and my daughters had a great time hanging out with the cats. Great coffee and food too.

The cat cafe was a pleasant experience. Although I did get the impression the cats were slightly oppressed and harassed when it seemed as though they would preferably have been left to their own devices. Its a lovely concept and a fantastic experience for the right individuals. If you love cats and soya milk then this is definitely for you.

Amazing place to meet beautiful cats. Great concept, friendly staff and volunteers. Once you add on the £5 per person plus food and drinks can be a bit pricey but great for special treat. Wish we had one that allowed children like here down in Devon! Food was tasty even meat eaters were impressed! Thank you x

Absolutely loved my experience here!
Such a cute little café and of course adorable cats. They are so cute!
Enjoyed my iced coffee and loved how the food is vegan with lots of gluten free options. Unfortunately I had already ate before arriving so couldn't try the food this time but I'm excited to try on my next visit.
You can tell how much the staff adore the cats and know all their habits and personality traits and they are happy to share any info on each of the cats if you ask. The staff were all really friendly and the lady that served us with short brown curly hair was so lovely.
The cats have a wonderful environment, with lots of comfy beds, sooo many toys, scratching posts/pads, towers and even a built in climbing course all around the ceilings. You can tell they are all extremely content, well looked after and healthy.
The atmosphere is really relaxed and calming which is great for the cats as well as those of us that get overstimulated.
I would recommend to book the downstairs tables as this is where most of the cats are. However after ordering you are free to wander about wherever you like anyway so we did head downstairs after our drinks.
The downstairs was fully booked so it was a little difficult at times to interact with the cats as there were a lots of people there, so there was quite a bit of standing around and waiting at some points. Will definitely book downstairs next time so that we can sit and chill.
I would say don't come in expecting the cats to be extremely playful and approach you as they did mostly mind their business and weren't interested in playing with toys. Which is completely fine and totally normal/ expected cat behavior and the cats were more than happy to be stroked when we approached them. Although I'm sure at different times of the day will be more playful, I'm pretty sure they had just ate when we arrived so they were a little more sleepy. But don't get me wrong I very much enjoyed the experience and just being around them and watching the cats be cats was enough for me. It's just that some of the people I went with did expect the cats to be playful which is why I thought I'd mention it.
Also think it's great that they offer placements to those with disabilities and learning difficulties, everyone deserves to thrive and get the support that this workplace offers. Many other businesses should follow suit.
