What can I say from the moment we arrived we was greated with a warm smile and a lovely Sylvia who showed us to our room and explained everything The Room was very clean and tidy everything you needed was there From Tea coffee hot chocolate even little packs of biscuits even a map showing place to vist, She was always on hand if you had any question's it was raining when I was going out ,That fantastic hoast was on hand with a big umbrella to save the day and me getting wet ,When we got back at night the room was lovely and warm and we had a fantastic night sleep we then went down for our breakfast there was a fantastic aray of fruit cereal and yogurts and fruit juice, then the main event the cooked breakfast there was tea toast fruit juice jams marmalade The hot breakfast was fantastic Quality Bacon Sasauge Hashbrown Mushrooms Egg, Tomato's I was full up I Evan had to slacken my belt for the Drive home will definitely be Back ||

Spent a week there in February 2024 while on a training course. |Room was a good size, very clean and warm - everything you need.|Lovely breakfast in the morning, only 7 min drive to the town.|All topped off with the friendliest welcome from Sylvia & Robert||Highly recommend

I stayed with sylvia whilst visiting my son, Very clean and comfortable room, views were amazing and breakfast was lovely. l don't drive and sylvia drove me to my sons on both days saving me money on cabs. l would 100 percent recommend Paxton cottages and l will be returning.||||Thank you Sylvia for a lovely stay x

A big thank you for a warm welcome and lovely stay. The rooms were spotless, comfortable with lovely countryside views. The breakfasts were out of this world, freshly cooked with more than enough to keep us going for the day ahead. Highly recommend the stay as Sylvia and her husband made us more than welcome and right at home.

Sylvia's communications were excellent.
Beautiful room,superb bed,and facilities.
Lovely full English breakfast.
Location good for me,as my bus stop was exactly opposite .
Price was excellent value for money.

Had a lovely weekend been going for many years since my son was in University in Bath started when he first went to look at the University. I go back with my husband and sometimes with a friend and always have a lovely time. Recommended to everyone excellent family friendly bed and breakfast even in these strange times. All set up to cope in this time of the virus. Can't wait to visit again soon. Thanks Sylvia and Bob see you soon

Very nice B&B. Warm welcome and excellent support by Sylvia. Comfortabel bed, good shower, full breakfast. Not too far from NCN4 cycle route 4. Recommended!

We are now in our 11th year of returning to Paxcroft. Always have a lovely week with Sylvia and Bob who make us feel so welcome in their lovely home. Sylvia cooks the most amazing breakfasts and forever goes the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable in every way. As we are both keen rugby fans we were welcomed to stay and watch the World cup England match on the morning of departure. How many b and bs do that?!Paxcroft is the ideal accommodation if you want to explore the area and have a restful break. There's lots to do and see without driving miles and if you belong to the National Trust there are many interesting places nearby. Just ideal!
