This is a great place to visit. Much smaller than I imagined, but it's definitely worth trying. The food was absolutely banging. Hot, freshly cooked, and very large portions. We had reserved seats, but i don't think it's absolutely necessary (although it's probably better, especially if you have a large group turning up all together).

Really enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea here , the food was really fresh and delicious, a nice variety and generous portions. It was very welcoming and they couldn’t do enough for us, the service was great. I will reccommend to all my friends this place is a little gem and will definitely come back again.

Afternoon tea and more, great selection of savoury sandwiches with picnic extras and salad. Huge cakes and homemade fudge to top it off! The staff were lovely and kept us topped up with drinks. Take your own fizz too

Went this morning as a family of 4 for breakfast. Great service by the young waiter who was helpful and polite
Had the breakfast bap with a drink which was amazing and fab value for money and they cooked the bacon exactly as we asked!
Would highly recommend. Only thing I would say is it would be nice to get oat or almond milk in

Absolutely love this cafe. No matter what Nat & the crew will make you feel welcome. We went for the afternoon tea this time, you need to pre-book because Nat puts so much effort into it. You will not be disappointed

Excellent cafe with amazing decor, gorgeous food and superb customer service. After finding out another cafe locally had closed I found this place. I had a large group of hungry anglers that needed feeding, they were accommodating and the food was a true feast!! Returned again last Friday with a friend and it was just as good and always welcoming. Credit to the owners and staff. Will always return here when I’m in the area. The large breakfasts are superb value and plenty of food. Looking forward to trying the pie, mash and liquor!!! Keep up the good work.

Absolutely amazing..definitely worth the money. We had such a lovely afternoon enjoying afternoon tea. Put on a great spread. Couldn't eat it all. Was allowed ylto take our left overs home. Hoping to return soon to try the pie and mash.

Unfortunately my experience wasn't good at Peaky Bakers. A friend and I went for coffee and a snack about 11.40 today. I ordered a pork bap with fries, stuffing and a cappuccino; my friend ordered a cheese, ham, tomato toastie with a latte. The coffees were fine; the food wasn't! My pork bap had mould spots on it, the stuffing ball was like a bullet and my friend's toastie was burnt outside and not cooked inside.
They gave me another bap but the pork was hard and crusty so inedible although the bread at least was fresh this time!
We both made brave attempts to eat what we were given but had to concede defeat in the end. We complained and weren't charged but it has really put us off going again. The fries were excellent though!
