Phil and Audrey really went out to make us feel very welcome.

The annexe is excellent, very spacious and spotlessly clean. Easy access to the car park for wheelchairs.

The property is situated less than one hundred meters from the village centre and a short wheelchair accessible walk to the ruins of Cowdray House.

Fully recommend staying here.

My partner and I ended up in Midhurst due to a mechanical breakdown and happened upon Pear Tree B&B by chance. It was a very lucky, last minute find! Our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and went out of their way to help us with mechanical assistance as well as the usual fare. Our room was a self-contained annex which was spacious and well equipped. Plenty big enough to use for a few day’s stay. Breakfast, which was left in the kitchen for us, was plentiful and varied. We can heartily recommend the place!

We have just spent a week at this B and B. We stayed in the double room in the main house.||||Pear Tree Cottage B and B suited our needs perfectly. It is very close to the town centre, the main street is literally 20 seconds walk away. Midhurst is a delightful little town, very busy by day but almost deserted at night and very quiet for sleep purposes. There are nice places to eat and a couple of good delicatessen. ||||The room is large, with a large and very comfy bed. The room contains a kitchen area complete with fridge, microwave and toaster. The arrangement is that you take your breakfast in your room. Phil keeps the fridge well stocked with breakfast items. It suited us perfectly. There is ample parking.||||Midhurst was ideally situated for the attractions we planned to visit. Nowhere was more than half an hours drive away, some less than that. So the National Trust places at Uppark and Petworth, Fishbourne Roman Palace , the Weald and Dowland and Amberley Museums, Arundel Castle all had visits. We even packed in two shows at Chichester Frstival Theatre.||||Phil was a very friendly and attentive host. All in all, somewhere I would highly recommend.

We visited Pear Tree Cottage for 2 nights. We traveled 6hrs to get down to Midhurst. We rang ahead to let them know we were running late and they were so accommodating. We were greeted and shown to the room immediately, by the owner Phil. He was amazing. We got to the room and he was telling us about how they work, and if we had any problems to go to them. Phil even said if we wanted anything different from the breakfast that was in, to tell him and he’d go shopping for us. Phil went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and I have never stayed in a place where I feel so safe and looked after. It was everything I could of wished for and more. The little touches they added like arriving to food, full big bottles of shower gel, fresh fruit, loaves of bread were just some of the things. I could not recommend them enough. ||||We’re even planning to travel back down next year and stay in the exact same place!||||Nothing was too much trouble for them. ||||Great location, lovely clean & tidy accommodation, kind and polite owner, perfect for a few nights away. ||100% recommend and will be returning again.

Just before the travel restriction came into play, my wife and I were able to get away for two days in Essex.|We were offered the Shepherds Hut, as the rooms in the cottage were taken. The Shepherds Hut was clean, comfortable and warm with en suite. Jill and Chris were are hosts and we were welcomed warmly on our arrival. Also we enjoyed a tasty English cooked by Jill on both mornings. We enjoyed our stay very much at Pear Tree Cottage and hope to return in the Autumn.

Lovely Annexe where me and my partner stayed at, perfect for two people. In the evening we mostly sat on the comfy sofa to watch TV - it's not a smart TV so we used my Fire Stick to watch Netflix. At times the internet connection dropped which was a tad annoying, but other than that it was a wonderful time. The owner was very lovely to deal with and the surrounding area is beautiful. Wish we had time to stay a few nights longer!

There were 4 of us, so we had both rooms at Pear Tree for 3 nights. very conveniently located, clean, well equipped, and great food/variety left for breakfasts. Host Phil very friendly and obliging.Free parking.

Fantastic room and great value, would love to stay again. The beds for my son and I were really comfortable, better than home! Was quiet so no sound from traffic and lovely powerful shower. Phil was on hand attheright time and was freindly.
