We enjoyed our overnight stay here at Peartree. Doug was a warm and friendly host, and our room was clean and pleasant. We also enjoyed walking through Corbridge, which is a very pleasant town with an exceptional bakery and good restaurants. Doug served a very nice breakfast the next morning and we enjoyed the view of their garden out the rear window.

Stayed at Pear Tree Cottage as we were guests at a near by wedding. |Everything you could want in a b&b.|Fantastic breakfast - everything you could ask for.|Rooms spotless with very comfy bed. Tea, coffee hot chocolate and a selection of biscuits in your room.|And the best shower ever.

We had a lovely night here.
The breakfast was great (loved the blackpudding) and the location was just what we needed. Walkable into corbridge and very peacefull.
The rooms were great and Jan and Doug were lovely hosts.

One of our best b&b stays! They provided so many thoughtful touches - fresh milk, cookies, lovely toiletries. Breakfast was delicious and included a wonderful selection of fresh fruits (along with an array of the usual offerings). The hosts were so kind and helpful, and the price was very reasonable as well. It doesn’t get any better.

We loved this place. We stayed here for three nights, as there is so much to see and do nearby. The king room is comfortable. and Doug's breakfasts are nicely cooked and presented. Doug offers a breakfast special every day, in addition to the usual full English breakfast fare. We availed ourselves of his mushroom and feta omelet and it was terrific. Jan and Doug are very hospitable, and we were made to feel completely welcome.

Jan and Doug are true hosts. The rooms are well supplied with biscuits and tea selections. The beds are incredibly comfortable. There is a little guidebook in the room with area details that is quite useful. And the breakfast was excellent. Doug ran us up to our head for the day to prevent us from. Walking on busy roads to get back to Hadrians Wall. So far Pear Tree is our best overnight stop.
