What a great place! Staff are first class. Rooms are perfectly adequate. Everything is spotless. Very few places provide a fridge and a microwave but Peartree Lodge does and they are very handy. I had a special request and had a personal reply from the hotel confirming. You don't get that in the big chains. Very highly recommended.

Stayed here with my wife, 2 of my adult sons and a mate for 2 nights while in MK attending a rave. Can't mark the hotel down in *any* aspect. The rooms are clean, the staff helpful and friendly and the views from the rooms on the canal side of the building are beautiful, with barges and waterfowl aplenty. The attached pub/restaurant serves well-priced breakfasts, including an "all-you-can-eat" full English option that during our visits was cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be coming back should we have a another messy weekend raving in MK.

Amazing experience here! Being so close to food and the canal really made the trip! The view from our room was beautiful and I would definitely recommend! The bed was super comfortable and the decor of the room was nice. The service from the hotel was also great, happy to help in any way!

What a peaceful, comfortable stay in Peartree Lodge!|We walked in off the canal after an enormous walk, were greeted kindly and shown a lovely room with a beautiful view of the boats in a marina.|The room itself was great, comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom, and checkout was easy.|Thanks so much to Julia and the team for their kindness in arranging the stay. The personal touch, and their generosity towards our charity fundraiser was fabulous. We would definitely stay again.|Also, the carvery next door is so convenient!

My friend and i stayed at Peartree Lodge for the weekend, upon arrival the young gentleman on reception called Thomas welcomed us with a lovely smile. He explained about the registration form and guest information that we had to sign, then we had to register our car for free parking that he helped us with. My friend has a bad back so Thomas kindly offered to help us take our bags to our room as we were on the second floor and there was no lift. |Our room was a twin room with a fantastic view of the marina! The room was clean with everything we needed and the beds where very comfortable.|We both really enjoyed our stay, all the reception staff were friendly and helpful but full credit to Thomas a true gentleman and very professional making our stay perfect.

Good basic rooms, better than a premier inn as they had a fridge, cutlery & nice bath which some inns only have showers now.
Staff were on the ball & helpful when needing things, the location is away from the main town centre adjacent to the grand union canal which is nice, I was visiting my dad on the canal & it's a short taxi ride into town.
The connected stones restaurant is a bit rough & ready but it's done its job I guess.
