My sisters and I (14 in total) stayed at Pencombe House yesterday and absolutely loved it. The grounds are beautiful as is the b&b. Mary, the host, is extremely accommodating and made our stay very enjoyable. It is well located near the port and the town is only a couple of miles away therefore it was no trouble finding child friendly eateries. Mary has printed information in each room with details of the locality which is a great help. ||At the end, no one wanted to leave. Thank you for the hospitality Mary. We hope to visit again. Highly recommended.

Mary was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was kept clean to a high standard. The B and B is ideally situated on farm land near to Fishbourne port only a few minutes away, so convenient and easy to find. The breakfast was lovely, with a good range of food to choose from. Our daughter loved playing with the dog and we were able to enjoy sitting out in the garden. When we revisit the Isle of Wight one day, this would be our first choice for accommodation as we throughly enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I spent a few days here for my 72nd birthday. On arrival at the B&B we were greeted very warmly by Mary, the owner. Mary took out baggage in for us and showed us to our room. She then told us what we needed to know about the hotel. the room was extremely clean and tidy, very fresh. Our bed was very comfortable . Our out look was on a beautiful garden and fields, and a view in the distance of mainland Portsmouth. There was a varied choice for breakfast. We were woken by the lovely sound of birdsong and the soft whinnying of horses. the setting could not have been more perfect for me .

We stayed for the second time and once again thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mary goes that extra mile to make sure your needs are catered for. Love generous sized, sparkly clean room with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is superb. Nothing is too much trouble for Mary who even helped us with ferry tickets and let us store a purchase in her garage. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pencombe House to anyone - beautiful place to stay - thanks for a lovely visit - we will definitely be back

We stayed at Pencombe house at the start and end of a round the Island Cycle tour. It was easy to find from Ryde and Mary was welcoming and very helpful. She allowed us to store our 4 bikes in her Garage and gave us an excellent recommendation on where to eat locally. The breakfast was amazing and the best we had whilst on the IOW. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. I would defiantly stay here again!

A great B&B. Good rooms and brilliant location for getting around the island. Mary, the host is friendly and very helpful. Molly the dog is also a joy! Breakfast is freshly prepared and of a very high standard (shouldn't really have full English everyday but too nice to resist). If we visit the island again this is where we will stay. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Penscombe House is a wonderful place to stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of Ryde. The rooms were very clean with tea and coffee making facilities plus bottled water each night. In the morning a good varied breakfast was on offer. Mary is very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of space for parking.

Just outside of Ryde in wonderful peaceful surroundings, and lovely host.
Excellent b/b, with nothing to improve on for us.
We were lucky with the weather, and enjoyed the Isle of Wight from this comfortable base for a few days.
We will return and look forward to another relaxing stay at Pencombe House.
