Once again Patrick and Julie did all they could to make our stay a real treat. I even had a slice of birthday cake on my big day! Lots of places to visit including some wonderful National Trust places all within easy reach.

The vast majority of reviews are 5 which is totally justified. All these reviews aptly describe the service, food and experience you will get. A memorable hotel made by the homely welcome,food and service you receive. It is very difficult to find this level of quality.

To describe Pencubitt House I can do no better than quote the friends we stayed there with. |"It was a beautiful place, the food was exceptional and owners just like old friends. They knew the guests by their first names and quickly learnt their preferences, our stay was wonderful. Definitely returning next year, if not sooner."||This is a quite extraordinary place to stay. Patrick and Julie made us instantly feel at home. The house and its grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds and the whole place is spotlessly clean. |The food that Patrick lovingly prepares each day was delicious on all 5 evenings of our stay and the breakfasts were the best we have had in any hotel anywhere.|The two guest lounges we lovely places to sit and either look at the views, read a book or play card/board games with our friends. The complimentary tea/coffee making facilities in one lounge including cakes were an excellent touch. |For those that like or need it the WiFi was fast and there was an excellent large flat screen TV in our room. |Incredibly good value for money, we have stayed in places more than twice the price that are not half as good.|I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a pace to stay while visiting such places as The Eden Project, Tintagel, Heligan Gardens or almost anywhere in Cornwall.

Where do I start? This is one of the best B&B/hotels we have stayed in. The house is immaculate, spotless, and very well-maintained. The owners, Julie and Pat are 2 of the best hosts we have ever come across. Julie is a font of knowledge and advice and Pat's cooking cannot be faulted and is simply superb. Between them, they ensured we had a very very good holiday. It is not a hotel to party in, but is a quiet sophisticated retreat to relax in.

Lovely rooms and excellent breakfast in this gorgeous B&B. Not much to do in Liskeard, but it’s a great base for exploring the rest of Cornwall. Room was very large with a lovely garden view. Breakfast options were excellent, but the gold medal must go to the Full Cornish.

Beautiful house and rooms. Plenty of social areas, and beautiful grounds to have a relaxing drink in at the end of the day.|Food was good quality and cooked fresh to order. I am intolerant to gluten and dairy, but I still had lots of options, including their own freshly baked gluten free bread.|Room was lovely and spacious, with great shower and lovely seating area. Queen size bed was very comfy.|Very friendly and personal service.|Would definitely recommend Pencubitt House

A lovely house beautifully furnished and comfortable. We had a delightful |room with a super bathroom albeit up two flights of stairs at the top of the house.|Patrick and Julie were very welcoming and made us feel at home.|All the food was delicious particularly our evening meal home cooked to perfection.|A gem of a hotel not to be missed.

Jacqueline and Linda Arrived at the Pencubitt guest house on Monday the 2 /9/24 Patrick was very welcoming to me and my mom met Julie at breakfast next morning they are amazing people they do an outstanding. service at the Pencubitt guest house food is outstanding Cleanliness is outstanding. I could not wish for any better and would recommend the Pencubitt guest house ie Patrick @ Julie me and my mom enjoyed our stay and will be going back soon the house and the lovely gardens are just beautiful
