We booked the Penventon Park hotel because we wanted a place to stay that was central to all the great locations. The room was big with a terrace access. Fresh water was provided every day free of charge. The bathroom was spacious. The hotel has a lot of atmosphere which we like very much. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices and you could also order additional. We had dinner several nights in the restaurant and only did we experience waiting for a drink and when I asked about I got immediately with an apology and it was complimentary too - so no complaints here at all. The hotel is very dog friendly and you even sit and est breakfast/dinner in dog friendly areas. Behind the hotel is a space where you can walk him, but we chose to take our fog outside. There is enough parking but when the hotel has an event it can get very full. All in all we felt very well looked after with friendly staff. A clear recommendation.

So where to start….. so booked the rooms with ease direct with the hotel so all started positive. On route to the Hotel, I decided to call ahead to book a table for dinner and this again all went smoothly. On arrival checked in with a very helpful member of staff on reception and off to the room. The rooms were clean and tidy and nothing to complain about here apart from the heat where the windows were all closed, opening the windows resolved this quick enough.|A short while later visited the bar and unfortunately the service was shocking and this continued to be the story of the evening, it was like no one knew what they were doing and we were forgotten about.||For the prices of the evening meal I expected a little better service and tbh quality.||Breakfast on the other hand was perfect the staff in the morning were on top of their game and could not do enough for you.||For me the morning team need to train the evening team, and they might have something.

If you are looking for somewhere to relax and feel pampered, this is definitely the place.
The Italian influenced setting, the staff, the food all top notch.
I want say a huge thank you to both Alex at the front desk and Alex the food and beverage manager who made my husband's 40th even more special. Our porter Jonathan was also very knowledgeable and hardworking.
I would definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Four of us had afternoon tea, I can say Penventon’s is one of the best, we’ve had a few at other hotels and yes maybe Penventon doesn’t have the wonderful views but they more than make up for it with their food. From the lovely sandwiches to the fluffy scones and wonderful jams not to mention the tiny delicious desserts. It made for a wonderful afternoon, service was great and we weren’t rushed at all stayed for a few hours.

I've stayed here a few times for work and my experience has always been positive. This time was no exception - friendly and helpful staff, good food and drink and although I only had a single room which was quite compact, it was perfectly clean and adequate for my one night. A few minutes walk into Redruth if you need to go there and within a 15 minute walk from the station for a mainline connection. Plenty of free parking and situated in lovely grounds.

✨️My best friends booked me in here for a spa afternoon with a treatment 😊 on Saturday 7th, the. The hotel looked incredible as we walked through to get to the spa ! Staff were really friendly, a shout out to the young lady who did my spa treatment, which was a whole body scrub, exfoliation, massage, and facial! She was incredible and so friendly and lovely. Definitely recommend for a treat the spa! Also, when we were walked back through the hotel, the cream teas looked delicious 😋

This is our second stay at this beautiful hotel and we are already looking forward to our third! We had a warm welcome and our room was well equipped with dog bed, dog biscuits, dog blankets and towels etc! |We enjoyed an amazing afternoon tea at the hotel on our first day before a quick trip to Portreath Beach, approximately 3 miles away. |We explored Padstow on our second day with fish and chips on the sea front at Perranporth in the evening and then extended our hotel stay by an extra night and visited Lands End, Penzance, Mousehole and St.Ives. |We had an excellent meal in the hotel and having initially been seated near a large group, we were asked if we’d prefer a different and potentially quieter table, which we accepted. We felt this thoughtful consideration was above and beyond and not something we’ve experienced before. Well done Penventon!
