I usually just send my husband and kids camping and I stay home but as I was joining them this year I searched hard to find a campsite with excellent toilet/shower facilities and I was not disappointed. Very pleased with the facilities! I also liked the small family feel of the campsite and the free fishing was great for my son. A good playground and space for football. |Admittedly I did get myself a log pod which was amazing and I didn’t actually camp with my husband, 3 boys and dog! The weather wasn’t great at all and we were all happy so will definitely come back in hopefully better weather!

Liked: Wonderful site, friendly welcome. Modern clean shower blocks and WiFi room.
Massive pitches that were well planned and spaced out. Safe environment.
Excellent fishing for all abilities, loads of nice fish.
Big play area.
Within easy reach of Perranporth and Newquay.

Me and my family have just returned from a relaxing weekend away at perransprings and we all had a wonderful time! The owners were very polite and welcoming upon arrival and the pitches were a great size, very well kept. The toilet and shower facilities were constantly spotless with lots of lovely hot water and the outdoor washing up facilities are great too. ||The fishing lakes are stunning and well stocked (the perfect place for a early morning/evening stroll!) and the kids loved the abundance of wildlife, hunting for bugs and watching the birds. They also loved the play area and the abundance of green space to run around. ||The site is very well located to explore lots of cornwall but our favourite was perranporth. Only a 15 minute drive away, it's a lovely town with lots of shops, places to eat, a beautiful sandy beach and most importantly great ice cream!||We all thoroughly enjoyed our break. Perransprings is the perfect place to relax and recharge and we will definitely be returning in the near future, thank you.

We just returned from a short break at Perran Springs Holiday Park. The campsite is looked after really well, with very clean toilets & showers, the showers were never overcrowded and there was also plenty of hot water. The Wifi is excellent, and we made good use of their new Wifi room, and sat outside on the benches to look on the web, when we had sunnier days. The campsite grounds are well maintained, and the fishing lakes are excellent for an all round coarse angler, with plenty of fish to catch, all in great condition and also with many great sea fishing spot within 10 minutes drive. I can highly recommend Perran Springs for a great relaxing holiday.

Just returned from another great stay at Perran Springs, our 10th time. Clean and tidy campsite the owners look after it well, the toilets and showers were kept clean, the showers were lovely and hot. Some great fishing on site, my son and brother highly recommend. Very pleased we can take the dog to the fishing lakes, so we can all be together as a family whilst son is fishing.
A dedicated place to wash your wetsuits, which is handy should you need this.
The pitch is a good size for the tent, plenty of space.

Excellent site. Will definitely go back.

Pros:
Clean shower block, 3 well stocked lakes, not overpriced considering fishing is included. Big pitches. Small play area for kids, good ehu available. Near Perranporth with nice cycle trail there.

Cons: shop was never open (even in peak season), needs more cubicles in toilets, wifi limited to small area (unavailable on pitches), bins were always full which brought in seagulls making a mess. Nearest water/sink areas were closed so had to roll heavy water tanks a fair way. Local pub not great but plenty of others within biking distance. No wardens around to deal with the extremely noisy and rude campers we unfortunately experienced. Could do with a food truck for takeaways.

Looks like a lot of cons but these were minor for us, just pointing out to the owners to help make it better. Great site overall.

We stayed here a while ago, and the place is wonderful. Countryside and a lake to wander around, and the lady was charming and helpful.

Liked: What a great site. First time here and there will be back. Toilets and showers were immaculate. Plenty of bins, washing up facilities nicley dotted around (shame not covered if raining). Nice small park for children, fishing lake which was nice to walk around and throw some bread in to entice the fish. Field space for outdoor games. WiFi room if you couldn't live without your phone (didn't use this). Short drink to Perranporth beach. 15 mins to Newquay.

Disliked: Wash facilities not under cover.
Phone signal poor (this didn't bother me)
