My favourite pub ever! Such delicious food and generous portions. The steak and stilton pie is huge and super filling. Puddings are great and the staff are really friendly.

Stayed just 10mins up the road from here so popped in as our daughter lives locally so she recommended it.

It did not disappoint, staff were really welcoming and friendly, we had our 3 bullies with us and they arranged a great table for us so they could get comfy and not be in the way.

We had the steak and stilton pie, wow!! Homemade and deep filled with quality ingredients, and large portion to boot!

Starters were great too, when we’re visiting our daughter again we will definitely be going back

This pub is a must. A little odd getting to it, but well worth it. We had the stack pie, and chicken, ham & leak pie followed by apple crumble. It was absolutely delicious and big portions. We left completely stuffed and very very happy. Definitely will be going back.

Fab very old pub. Had roast beef - bit light on veg, one small platter for three - no extra gravy. Food & service excellent though. Bar toilets very tight for space. Essential to book a table several customers turned away as no spaces whilst we were there.

Yet another place we dropped in without a reservation and we were accommodated. A fine country pub away from the main road where it needs to be good to survive and it really is. I had the chicken, leek & ham pie.
The owner and staff very attentive and welcoming.

If your after a good meal look no further. The meals in this pub are beyond good they're sublime. The staff are more than friendly and very attentive. Free parked in the car park for the night. This pub was picked out of the blue. What a pick. If your within 1 hour of this pub, visit and you won't be disappointed. ENJOY 😊

We visited the Peter Tavy Inn a couple of times, not too much to complain about here really but I'd say the Inn is perhaps a victim of it's own success. The service was a little variable at busy times, new staff on didn't help matters. The car park became rammed full and chaotic on the first visit, folk attempting 3 point turns to get out rather than reversing back out as no spaces free, fun to watch but I was pleased my car was well out of the way. We both had a diet coke on the first visit and were disappointed with it's odd flavour, strangely it was much more enjoyable on the second visit and totally different! Food was good though, roast beef, casserole and pies all very enjoyable and well presented.

Had a really lovely meal with my family today.. In fact the vegetarian lasagne was one of the best I’ve tasted.. staff were lovely and attentive.. lovely outdoor seating areas. also noticed they have lovely looking accommodation adjacent to the pub.. Highly recommend eating here.
