Brilliant sushi making lesson. Madoka is a natural teacher and made it seem easy. The experience was truly authentic as Madoka was able to add her own knowledge of Japan and the Japanese language and culture. The evening finished with a Japanese dinner and we brought home enough sushi for the whole family to enjoy. I would thoroughly recommend the sushi foundation course.

My 13-year-old daughter and I attended the advanced sushi-making class, and it was a fantastic experience—I’d highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning sushi-making. The best ingredients were used and you get to take home whatever you have not eaten.
Madoka is wonderful—she’s knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and an excellent teacher. We’re looking forward to joining more of her classes in the future.

We had the most amazing experience! What a fantastic course! Madoka was so lovely and friendly and so professional, teaching us all about Japanese culture and sushi. It was so informative and so much fun! I thought it would be great but it absolutely exceeded our expectations - perfect for children and adults alike! We’re definitely going to do another course with Madoka, she was fantastic! I can’t recommend Madoka and her classes enough! We made so much we even had enough for lunch and dinner and the extra miso soup and carrot salad was so tasty. A very delicious day!

Madoka was very professional and very friendly taking our sushi lesson which made the whole experience very enjoyable. Learnt how to make sushi rice sticky, best way to cut Salmon and Tuna. She supplied all the ingredients and made it all look very easy. Fantastic atmosphere and great set up. Thank you

Madoka's lessons is a brilliant peek into Japanese culture and food. The whole experience, set in a learner-friendly environment, is superb. The takeaway food is also plentiful, making it great value for money. Loved it and will return for another class.

Had a fabulous morning learning to cook Okonomiyaki, chicken salad and Asian style soup. Madoka was an excellent teacher and made the lesson fun while also ensuring that we understood each step. I liked that she also told us about the ingredients used and suggested substitutes for if we cannot get hold of them. At the end of the lesson we got to eat the dishes we had made and they were delicious, I will definitely be making them at home. I really enjoyed the lesson and would recommend to anyone wanting to learn to cook Japanese food. I hope to attend another class very soon.
