My partner and I have come to the Phoenix cafe multiple times and have brought our parents and family when they have come to visit us.

We have always been impressed by the food drink and staff. The cafe allows dogs which is great (in my opinion)! We always have this on our shortlist for food if we are stumped for breakfast or lunch.

Don’t allow any children without adult supervision which then means that me and my friends can’t get any water. Reason for this was that apparently there would be a “queue of kids outside the door”. When asking why this is, instead of politely explaining, instead a staff member comes out of the kitchen telling us to leave and that we need an adult. We then ask surely it would improve your business (there’s barely anyone ever there). Overall- rude staff, didn’t even get food or anything as was refused service for being a “child”. All we wanted was some water. Instead they they argued with us on how we’re kids like we didn’t already know that! We’re 13.

Visited as supporters of an outside event was taking place. Coffee and food was fine, but we thought that the decor was not very cosy and lacking character. No carpet or curtains and bland decor. Shame.

My first time there today. This place has much of offer at reasonable pricing. The coffee and my pannini was perfect. Great place to eat inside or out for the family near the park.
