Our place with you had the best of "Everything" which made our stay not only comfortable but so enjoyable. Your hospitality was outstanding, just like both of you!!. We lacked for nothing. My husband and I stayed three nights at Pinegrove Lodge. Heather and George have thought of everything! There were fresh strawberries, bread and jams, and a stocked mini-fridge ready for us at arrival. The lodge is very tastefully decorated and is a very comfortable, private space. We figured they had to be master gardeners because the front and back yards are packed with beautiful blooms. They shared time with us, chatting about the history of the area and showed real interest in the history of my husband's family (our main reason for visiting this particular part of NI). If we ever get back to Ballymena, a stay with Heather and George will definitely be part of our plans.

George and Heather were a big part of the reason we chose Ballymena for our honeymoon, having had the pleasure of staying with them 6 years ago while traveling. My goodness, Pinegrove couldn't be more perfect. A slice of heaven on this planet. Breathtaking garden, extremely convenient location for walking, sightseeing, and dining, and Heather and George provided such a comforting stay, we didn't even want to go out. You must book.

Absolutely perfect. Heather and George made us so welcome and we had everything we needed and more!! We stayed in the house and our friends were in the annexe which again was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. All 4 of us said that hopefully we will go back to Ballymena and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. Heather and George are delightful. We felt so very welcome in immaculate accommodation with a lovely private lounge to relax in and all sorts of extra, special bits. Breakfast had something for us all, from a full Irish to delicious toasted Irish soda bread and cereals if you chose. Their local knowledge was especially valuable to my husband in his family research. I would definitely stay here again on any future trip to this area and certainly recommend Pinegrove Lodge to anyone traveling to or through Ballymena.

Like others who have reviewed Pinegrove Lodge before us, we would rate the B&B a 5 star. Our visit started with George picking us up at the Ballymena bus station.||Heather and George were generous with their time, hospitality and local knowledge.||The breakfasts were bountiful, healthy, tasty and beautifully presented. ||Our unit was immaculate and stocked with everything a traveller could need. We enjoyed a glass of wine in a sun room in their landscaped back garden in full bloom. Heather and George made us feel like long-time friends.

Greeted with a friendly smile and such enthusiasm. You'll instantly be chatting with Heather and George like you have known them for years.|They are happy to accommodate your breakfast needs and then some. Want to try local breakfasts, Heather has that covered. Our own lounge and bathroom were provided with our bedroom. We had our own entrance with key, so it felt as if we had rented a house for the weekend.|The bathroom is spotless, modern and light.|Fitted with a great power shower which was simple to use.|The lounge is large and both bedroom and lounge have TVs and an assortment DVDs themed around the local area and travelling.|Bedroom is spacious with a lovely comfortable large Divan bed.|Kettle and fridge in the bedroom. Coffee maker in your hallway.|We were supplied with complimentary bottled water, crisps, kit-kats and more.|A stunning garden with plenty of seating area at the back which leads to the local Spar and Countryman Pub/Restaurant, about a minute walk away.|An ideal place to stay for the Galgorm Resort (£7 taxi approx 10 mins) and if visiting for Game of Thrones site seeing. Not far from the Dark Hedges. An easy route from the nearby roundabout (30 min drive) to the Giant's Causeway if you have rented a car.|It may rain outside, but Heather and George make sure it feels like the sun is always shining for you.|They also have a separate annex suite for self catering which is first class.|
