Really good food - nicely spiced curries without being too hot. Service was generally good although a bit slow in bringing the bill. Overall a good place to go for dinner.

Really tasty food, didn't have to wait long for service once seated.
I love very spicey food and although one of the nicest curries Ive had for a very long time, ordered a Phall and it was a max a madras spiciness.
Great service, tasty food, just order 3+ on spiciness level and u might get what u want.
Will visit again, just hope warmer next time.

An awesome, busy and popular place. A great range of favourites and specials at good affordable prices. The food is rich tasty and filling, and the service was second to none. I have been twice and tried different dishes on each occasion but the quality remained. You do not have to book but i would advise it. Open from 530pm it means it can accomodate those who like to eat early. There is free parking within walking distance on the streets or just a walk along the sea front if staying local. There are some good restaurants in great yarmouth but i would highly reccomend this place...

Dined here New Year’s Eve 24-25 with my two teenage children. Shockingly slow service, soggy popadoms, starters that came with the mains and my chef’s special lamb curry had almost no curry flavour. The popadoms and my curry weren’t charged for after I gave feedback but the whole experience was pretty poor. I had been 18 months earlier and had no issues but I won’t be returning.

We have been coming here for ages last 6 years and the food and service has never let us down..
We remember the waitress who is friendly and very attentive.
The waiter was very friendly too.
High recommended great food and reasonably priced. See you next year!! X

Iv never done this before
Iv worked at few top tier indians before Ordered a chicken tikka masala and rice I could only eat a couple of spoons of it it tasted like dish water no taste at all was very disappointed
No atmosphere whatsoever

I don’t usually leave restaurant reviews, but this place angered me so much that I felt compelled to do so on this occasion. We arrived as a party of 6 adults, 4 kids and a baby. A sign outside said ‘thank you NHS’ and as all 6 adults in our group are NHS doctors, we were pleased to see it. The lady who greeted us on our entrance immediately started to pull unhappy faces on seeing our group. Then she said, ‘fine you can stay but I can’t give you a high chair because it’s being used’. She acted like she was doing us a huge favour by allowing us to stay, even though the restaurant was not very busy. We then ordered a mix of things and she reappeared saying ‘I’m not trying to be rude but you have to order at least £10 per person’. This actually did come across very rude. Perhaps this policy could be made more clear prior to ordering or at least she could have expressed it in a more polite manner and apologised. She did not know how much we were short by and we had not ordered our drinks yet. If she had better customer service skills, we would have been happy to order a couple more items. She still did not apologise when we expressed that we felt unwelcome and would find somewhere else to eat.

I dont know what on earth the bad reviews are for However i had the best curry i have ever had here.. staff were polite and friendly too.. i dont ever leave reviews but felt this place deserved it
