Planks Kitchen is such a lovely place to stop by! The atmosphere is really unique and welcoming, the walls are decorated with old doors, which gives the café a very creative and cozy touch.

The food is absolutely delicious, made with care and great ingredients. Prices are not the most affordable, but you really feel the quality in what you get. The staff are super friendly and make you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

One of the highlights is that they’ve thought about families too, there’s a little area with toys where children can play while parents enjoy their coffee or meal in peace.

Overall, it’s a charming spot with a great vibe, tasty food, and wonderful service. Definitely worth a visit!

Love Planks Kitchen, its one of my favourite places to go for brunch or lunch.. today we went for brunch and always book a table as it gets busy.

Ordered an immunity and roots juices, vegan breakfast and avocado on sourdough with tomatoes and mushrooms. It was fantastic, good sized portions, delicious and fresh and we enjoyed every morsel.

There were quite a few vegan cakes too so an excuse to revisit.

Lots of parking, dog friendly and lots of outside seating space. Advisable to book.

Had a lovely fresh brunch at this kitchen cafe . It’s very clean and the food is all home made and mostly healthy apart from the cakes but eh .. a cake is always a treat . Will definitely come back. Staff are helpful and friendly.came back again and sat outside this time I had avacado and toast.. beautiful.. we just keep coming back it’s fantastic

Called in midday on a Saturday, we reserved a table ahead of time (would recommend doing so, it was very busy, although nobody was being turned away).

We chose this place as we knew it had good plant based options, and was also dog friendly. We checked in and got to our seat, after smiling at some of the other dogs being well behaved sat with their parties 🐶

We had to wait about 30 mins for food, after ordering at the till, which we put down to how busy the place was. All the staff were super polite, courteous and friendly.

We had the deli bowl with some additional fixings (this weeks rotation was Indian food), it was delicious, and a really good example of how plant based food can be flavourful, varied and adventurous!

Cakes after were equally delicious, although somebody ahead in the queue took the last chocolate and orange slice (all the more reason to return soon!). Again, plenty of plant based options, well labelled at the counter.

Overall thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely return, will try when not so busy but don't let that put you off, it's well worth checking out anytime ✌️

Very over priced, 28 pounds for 4 sausage and bacon barms. 1 rasher of streaky bacon and 2 sausage on an unbuttered barm. Very disappointing. Fair enough the place was heaving and the staff were nice but that isnt enough for the price paid.

Great find while we were in the area. Looking for a healthy breakfast option and a vegan brekkie. Both available here with a great selection of cold press juices and healthy smoothies. Lovely setting and atmosphere and great for kids and dogs. They also have cake, lots of tasty cake! Definitely a place to visit!

Nice cafe with lovely fresh food. We had a delicious soup for lunch. Roasted sweet potato with coconut with a great spicy kick.
