Booked 2 weeks before after deciding to visit family, got 2 nights for the price of 1, we had a family room for me, my daughter and grandson, we had choice of 1 double bed and 2 singles, my son and daughter in law had a double and a single in there’s, the rooms were lovely and clean, we had breakfast included, we had choice of bacon or sausage on a roll, cereal bar or yogurt and a drink, the lady cooked my grandson toast. Would definitely book again when visiting.

We have stayed at The Plaza several times over the past couple of years and since new management took over in Monika we have nothing but praise for all aspects of our dealings with all members of her team and of course Monika and the facilities on offer. We had room 2 and since its revamp it is superb. A BIG thank you to Monika and her team. Ken & Marie Room 2.

A comfortable stay that suited my needs. Ideally positioned for where I wanted to be on this trip. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything that I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Lovely pub next door with great food.

Staff are exceptional at this hotel. They are simply amazing .I have friends who have sight loss who stay regularly at the hotel ,and the staff are so helpful ,nothing is too much trouble . There is such a nice atmosphere at the hotel and this is all down to the team who work at the Plaza. Thank you so much !

We had a lovely stay with Monika and the gang, it is like our 2nd home as we have many more stays booked already...|Rooms lovely staff friendly and nothing too much trouble..|There's always something to do with Monika about Kel loved doing her xmas art work on the Front door..

On arrival , got a little confused as the hotel was named plaza and we expected best western hotel ! Small reception area with courteous bloke who gave us room key on first floor room ( no lift ) . Explained breakfast menu ( very basic either omelette or vegan sausage on toast, microwave cooked ) Friendly enough bloke brought it to room ( limited seating ) . Room was very tired with oil filled heater! Decent steak restaurant next to hotel for evening meal . Would i stay again ? Very doubtful !

Excellent value for money.||Room very clean, staff friendly and helpful, bed comfy, little traffic noise and good sound proofing to th rooms. Plus decent pub opposite, though many people seem to use UBER Eats.||Overall, excellent value for money - quite outstanding!

Outstanding service and staff Monica and team are amazing will be returning nothing was to much trouble very welcoming and friendly would highly recommend this accommodation and we enjoyed it that much we have booked more stays with Monica and the team
