What a find, lovely free house with great landlady knows her trade and cooks brilliantly. We stayed here for my daughter's birthday, evening meal and breakfast couldn't have been better. A real privately owned country pub tucked in great countryside, these need supporting as many are disappearing ❤️

We enjoyed 2 night stay (Friday/Saturday) as a base for a family wedding. We were made very welcome and the landlords are very accommodating. We had a good choice of menu for our evening meal Friday snd the breakfasts both mornings were substantial and well cooked. We shall endeavour to stay the again when in that area of Bristol.

Stopped off for some lunch after doing a beautiful walk in the area. Very busy being the start of the school holidays and beautiful sunshine. Took a while to get our drinks as only one member of staff on. Food was nice but did take about half an hour to come. But what was disappointing was the barman! Came over to us and told us to keep one of our dogs quiet! Have never been told to do this ever. Admittedly this spaniel had bark a few times and was told to be quiet but wasnt consistently doing so and didn't seem to bother other dinners, we felt modified, we are very thoughtful owners.

Came to the pub for some food and if I say so myself it was one of the most wholesome pub foods I’ve had in a while. The service was great and the location of the pub is beautiful . I’ve definitely recommended this place to my family and friends and recommend it to anyone looking to go out to eat l aswell .

We were staying in the village and came to the Plume of Feathers a couple of times, including once for a meal. Very friendly pub, friendly staff and atmosphere. Lovely food.

Stopped for a quick pint after a walk. Good choice of ales and ciders, missed the roast dinner but the left over roast potatoes on the bar were delicious. Picturesque location with a garden a stream and nice decorations inside. Only downside were the outhouse style toilets -steps to get in and not toilet paper.

Called in for a meal with daughter in the week and excellent been there before couple of years ago and is still brilliant food is outstanding and scenery etc no faults and r going now again on Sunday today cannot wait love it highly recommended
