We had stayed here in 2021 so we knew the property. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The owners are very helpful. Full English breakfast is very good and sets you up for the day. The house is in 15 acres of land which the owners have developed over the years into an award-winning conservation "park". You can walk around at least some of it, but we have yet to do that as we have only stayed in winter!|We recommend staying at any time of year, but we would like to return so that we can look around the grounds in summer!

If you are thinking of visiting Cambridge,Peterborough,Ely or the lovely towns and villages of the Fens then a stay at Pointers guest house is highly recommended.|Lovely rooms with the best shower in the en-suite bathroom.|Delicious breakfast with a wide choice available.|Secure and safe parking.|Beautiful gardens in which to relax after a busy day.

We were quite surprised when we arrived at the high automatic swinging gates and drive way leading to this lovely house and gardens. The rooms were quite spacious clean and very comfortable. Our window faced the lane that was very quiet and we looked out on fields which was lovely .Not a building in sight. Breakfast was served in the conservatory looking out on the gardens, and the smoked trout (best ever) and home grown tomatoes were very tasty. David was able to tell us interesting facts about the area and the fens. A lovely place to stay.

This is a spacious and pleasant bed and breakfast in a tranquil location. Comfortable room nice bathroom with a good walk in shower and separate bath . Arrival was slightly difficult as we did not have the code to the electric gates although I had let the owner know of our long journey from Plymouth and the desire therefore to check in a little earlier., and was advised no problem . We could hear dogs barking but despite 3 calls no one answered the phone . My husband then left me with the car and walked around 100 yards to the house where he found the code on the desk , the door being open . It wasn’t ideal so I recommend you are sure to ask for the code specifically before your arrival . I am not a massive fan of dogs and the loud barking of 3 large animals was off putting. The owner did explain and apologised for that the next day and all was quiet for the second day and night . The decor is dated but pleasant and clean . A lot of breakable ornaments in the room and bathroom too were a slight concern but thankfully no breakages occurred. A good breakfast served piping hot . As a plus size lady I found the dining chairs uncomfortable and that would probably mean we wouldn’t return - but it’s a good place to stay if you need to be in this area and much quieter than other areas nearby ..

Peter and I spent 4 days in the lovely Guest House. The room was large with a recess for a dressing or make up room with beautiful views over the pond and beautiful wisteria growing and hanging over the pergola and the walk round the site was lovely.
The breakfast each morning was gorgeous and so was the coffee and looking out over the grounds was also lovely.

The owners Eileen and David were smashing and we had talks
which were interesting.....we definitely will be visiting again!!!

Absolutely beautiful place in stunning surroundings. Eileen was a wonderful host and made us feel at home. The room was large and well equipped and had a gorgeous en-suite with excellent, clean facilities. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend visiting. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for two nights for a friend's wedding in June and had a lovely time. Beautiful gardens to roam around and we loved watching the rabbits and had a look at the rare pheasants and amazing plants! ||All their dogs are super cute too! (The hosts are cautious that some of their guests may not like dogs so they ensure to keep them out of the way)||The breakfast was delicious and we ordered a takeaway on the Friday evening (fairly late) and the lovely hosts went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They allowed us to sit in the conservatory which was nice. ||We will definitely come back again to escape the city life to enjoy the wonderful fresh air and to explore the area abit more. 10/10 😊

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at Pointers. Booked via Airbnb.

Both David and Eileen were very accommodating.

We had the family room, and our own private bathroom adjacent to our room, with both bath and a shower and plenty of towels and a few soaps, gels and lotions.
Both of these were very comfortable and I had the best night sleep ever.
We had a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and our kids enjoyed the complimentary biscuits.

Breakfast was amazing, we selected what we wanted the night before and a time of arrival and we sat in the beautiful conservatory overlooking their beautiful gardens. The choices were great and the food was amazing.

We didn't explore the gardens, though as we'd definitely come again, we hope to then.
