Me and my husband stayed for a few days last week. We originally booked a gold plus van which is pet friendly. Unfortunately, we lost our dog a few weeks before, which was devastating for us. On arrival we queried about changing our accommodation and we were greeted by Jenna, the accommodation manager. She was very understanding to our situation and was very accommodating to our needs. She went above and beyond to help us and we can't thank her enough. Due to the park being quiet she was immediately able to give us a key to a platinum van with decking and allowed us to view the accommodation before making a decision. Well what can I say, it was stunning. The van was spotless and very well equipped. The park in general is very well maintained and had the best view. All staff we came across were friendly. We are looking to come back again in the near future.

2nd time here and once again didn't disappoint. |Quiet on park as I'm guessing children where still at school. |We stayed in an amazing caravan, with amazing views.|Sonia and Lisa cleaned ours and it was spotless, with everything we needed. |Entertainment was a bit quiet so only went up for one night. |Food was lovely aswell.|Pool was lovely and warm. Only 45 min session even in quiet times. |We are hoping to come back a few times this year. See you soon.

Park has wonderful views over Talland Bay and is currently undergoing refurbishment, but this does not affect the amenities. It is well worth visiting. We booked a platinum van for a long weekend and extended to a full week. The staff could not have been more helpful arranging this for us. They are really all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The van itself was top grade, clean, warm, very comfortable, washing machine, dishwasher, two shower rooms. Well worth the extra cost. We have booked again for May and September, but for now we are just enjoying this week. Thank you Park staff.

As an owner on the park I have seen a lot of changes over the years.... but this season has started brilliantly. |I ate in the restaurant last night and the food was excellent. I ordered steak which was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. Big thanks and well done to all the staff.

We're departing tomorrow and want to say a massive thank you to Ryan and Jo on the Entertainments Team for making our kids holiday. It was extremely quiet the days we went in but they both made our 2 kids feel so welcome! Alicia the bar manager also had a smile on her face all the time and was nice to see, despite the place looking a bit dated and tired, the staff were all happy and friendly.

I often read the reviews on here as an owner at Polperro Holiday Park. But never do l see anything about all the wonderful staff behind the scenes. I had a problem with one of my bills lately and l must say as always Kelsey went above and beyond for me. People that come on holiday will very rarely get to see Kelsey and her smiley face. But as an owner she always goes the extra mile for us. So l just wanted to thank her for all she does. X

Firstly I wanted to say a massive thanks to Cheryl and all the other staff for being so hospitable and making sure we had everything we needed. |The van was spotless, the pool was lovely and warm and we had a fab time, definitely will be visiting again.

I really wanted to rate this a full 5* however, I just couldn’t after the experience we had there. We booked for 5 nights in August 2024 and paid for the Platinum with decking. We arrived and were shown to our van where we were blown away by the location and the van itself, however, this was short lived. We had asked specifically for a PET FREE van as I am asthmatic as well as my son (and rely on inhalers daily) when we entered the van the smell of dog was overpowering, however we decided to carry on looking round and moving our stuff in. After further investigating there was a padlocked cupboard but when you opened it there were dog bowls and pet food. There were dog hairs all over the mats too. I called reception and they were helpful but assured me it was a pet free van, and offered us another van but this van was nothing like we had, although they say it was the same spec. After deliberating we decided to move, but at the time of calling back we were told it wasn’t possible as the guests had checked in. Due to the fact I had just driven 6 hours to get there I decided to try and deal with it as the kids were so happy to be there. The park manager was good and brought anti-histamine for me, offered free WiFi (which never worked) and put a dehumidifier in the van one day (which again didn’t help).
We decided not to use the pool due to the face you have to walkthrough the clubhouse in your swim stuff and people in the bar can watch you, so this was about off.
I did complain to the manger in writing and asked for compensation, however I was told that they can never guarantee that pet have never been in the accommodation, and due to this face no refund was due. Appalling. This is just awful. I have severe pet allergies and booked a van on the back of this. How on earth are people with allergies like mine and worse ever going to feel comfortable.
We will never be booking at this location again and were dissatisfied that not even a small feature of compensation was offered.
