When you're host says "Welcome home" you know you're in the right place! We had the downstairs double room with ensuite shower and a private WC just along the hallway. This was pointed out in the booking info and wasn't really a problem. Agnes even provided robes. Breakfast was wonderful and bringing food back to eat later was never a problem. There was access to the kitchen and dining area whenever we needed it.|Beds very comfy, room cleaned and towels changed. Nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend!!!

Had a 4 Day break at this Fantastic B&B you are made to feel welcome as soon as you arrive Agnus is G8 Rooms are spotlessly clean good quality bedding and towels Breakfast is good . If you don't want to drive buses stop right outside the B&B When coming to the Island this is a must.STAY

Where to begin. This place is just fantastic.The room was great with everything you could want and more. We both got a very relaxing and wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast was spot on but probably the best part of all were the hosts David and Agnes. They made us feel like we were at home and their only interest was to make sure our stay was excellent. We will return to the IOW and this is where we want to stay without a doubt.

This really is a lovely little bed and breakfast !!! Excellent service; rooms spacious clean and very well equipped with everything you need and more. Cupboard space a plenty; shower room fridge milk coffee kettle coffee machine fan and all you require. Breakfast Excellent to get you on your journey; but most of all Agnes the proprietor is a warm welcoming friendly and can't do enough for you. This place you may well overlook when searching for a b&b due to location; just don't its well worth the stay. Close to town and bus links 10/10.

We stayed here for 4 nights for my husbands birthday. |Agnes and David are great hosts and made us feel so welcome. The room was a lovely size and the bed was a huge king size and we had the best sleep. They had thought of everything in the room with tea,coffee and even some biscuits. Along with shampoo and shower gel. It was a lovely clean place and Agnes made the best breakfast which was plentiful. We would highly recommend ponders end, if we ever return we would be staying here again. Thank you both for a lovely stay!!

Very welcoming hosts. Excellent breakfast with good portions, selection & quality. Our room was very clean and of good size. The only down side was the size of the bathroom. It had a shower, toilet & basin but you had to reach over the toilet to use the basin. This room was very small. Don't know if all the rooms are like it but we stayed in No.2.|Tea/coffee making facilities provided, even a fridge with orange juice, milk and cold water in plus a packet of biscuits. Hair dryer provided and lovely fluffy towels changed whenever you need them.|The size and quality of the bed is brilliant. So comfortable. Television in room and even a fan. |Please note that there is a main road outside the property which is very noisy. We are not used to this so it did disturb our sleep a lot. We also sleep with the windows open so heard it even more than if you kept the windows closed. A good quality fan is provided in each room so you could use it if you get hot but don't want to open the windows.|We still had a lovely few days and thank Agnes and David for making us feel so welcome.|

I booked Ponders End for a work trip which my other half was joining me on so we turned it into a weekend getaway.|David and Agnes are fantastic hosts who make you feel really at home. David has grown up in the area and has loads of local knowledge, including scenic routes to places and information about local history.|Agnes makes a super cooked breakfast which really sets you up for the day, and goes the extra mile to make sure you have all you need during your stay.|The room was lovely; really spacious and light, and complete with all the amenities you would need. The shower had really good pressure - amazing! The location is a leisurely walk from Newport town centre and, being in the middle of the Isle, is a short drive to all of the local attractions.|We are so glad that we chose Ponders End and hope to visit again!

stayed here for 4 nights with my wife. we were given room 4 which is downstairs. room was very clean and had everything you need. bed was huge and so comfortable. Agnes and David made us feel extremely welcome. both were very friendly. breakfast was really nice. couldn't recommend staying here enough. would definitely come back.
