A lovely|Clean hotel with an amazing balcony / hot tub room we’ve booked . Overlooking the bay for an amazing sunset . Easy access with a key waiting for us with the passcode given to us . Lovely view of the bay with the Lossiemouth light house overlooking the horizon , giving it a breathtaking expirience when the sun went down , giving the whole sky a red and yellow colours until very late ! All of this while chilling in the hot tub

Great stay here. The self check in was super easy and the room with en suite was lovely.Tea and coffee and a fridge in the room was a great touch. Will definitely stay here again

This Inn is situated in a nice location at the edge of a golf course in Lossiemouth. It is also on The Moray Firth/North Sea, so it was very nice to go walking along the beach and the waterfront in the evening. Very peaceful.|There is no reception desk or area in this Inn. You obtain your room key from a lockbox outside the front door. You receive your lockbox code via email. This was an easy process, even with it being our first time encountering this type of check-in process. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable. The building is old, thus the rooms are old and could perhaps do with a touch of cosmetic renos. But, we only mention that in this Review, we didn't feel it's a big priority, nor is it a complaint. With it being a no frills Inn, there is, of course, no breakfast. It felt odd to not have a staff member present incase we needed something or had questions, but it worked and we have no complaints.

Poseidons is in a great location in Lossiemouth, right next to the golf course and overlooking West Beach.

Our room was comfortable and a decent size with a large bay window looking out to sea.

Very comfortable bed and largely peaceful. The room was described as self-catering although there were no facilities other than a kettle so if you were hoping to prepare food and eat in the room it would be a bit of a challenge.

Overall though, this was a good place to stay and a great location - we would not hesitate to return.

We stayed at the Poseidon the stuff where very helpful nothing too much trouble. They went out of their way to guidance around different parts of Lossiemouth. Everything really good. Debbie got us two fantastic rooms for my wife and I and there are two friends top marks to the stuff fantastic views we had a lovely time.

Rooms needed a deep clean and we're showing signs of wear. We've stayed here a few times and feel it's gone down hill. Location is the only real draw.

We ended up at Poseidon’s Inn after another hotel cancelled our reservation. What a delight. This spot is a “self-catering” hotel. There is only staff on the premises from 9-5. Room cleaning only upon request. It seems to have been recently renovated and that some final touches are still in process. ||It sits on a golf course on the ocean. It is a quick walk down to the East Beach Esplanade for beach walking, food and fun. There are also many take away restaurants in the area. ||This little Lossiemouth is a hidden gem. This property is extremely affordable and a great value. It was clean, and comfortable.

Had a lovely stay. I would have preferred a Seaview option, but it wasn't available for 2 nights in a row. Didn't have the option to book 2 separate rooms for the 2 separate nights. Which we would have preferred to do. Also, our room was described as luxury double. However, it was very nice but definitely not luxury. The bedside lamp near the window was broken and not working, the bed was 2 three foot single beds pushed together. The bathroom door would not shut properly, and it also made a very loud noise when opening or closing. Obviously, this wasn't ideal as in the middle of the night, the noise caused me to wake up because someone had nipped to the toilet. To describe the room as luxury, I felt that the fixtures and fittings were below par. Also, on the description of the room, it states that there is use of a hot tub. However, on the information pack, it does say that please use darker towels for the hot tub, all OK. But there are no signs of hot tub access anywhere inside the building or on the information pack in your room. Believe me, you can not find the way into the hot tub where on earth is the hot tub entrance! This was a deciding factor for our choice of Poseidons Inn, and we couldn't access it. Very very disappointed
