We stayed for three nights in the Juliette Suite in Wendy & Ron's beautiful home, Pound Orchard B&B, in the wonderful medieval village of East Meon, Hampshire, for a few days walking in the South Downs National Park. Wendy & Ron are great hosts, relaxed, engaging, and incredibly friendly. The house and gardens are really beautiful with modern, tasteful, really comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The tasty breakfast of local produce and Ronaldo's superb coffee were a great start to each day's walk.
We thoroughly recommend both pubs in the village for dining out. Thank you both for a great stay in your wonderful 'Grand Designs' home. We look forward to our next stay with you.

We had a lovely stay at the Pound Orchard Bed and Breakfast which is located in a wonderful village. Our host was warm, welcoming and the rooms clean, spacious and modern. There is also parking by the accommodation and a great Pub and the local town has plenty of places to eat. Would recommend a stay at this quant relaxing B&B.

Wendy and Ron were perfect hosts. The room was modern, spotless and beds very comfortable with fresh linen. Wendy was very responsive. Breakfast had a range of cereals, toast and a hot option. We were cycling and safe storage was provided. Great pub next door for dinner. Totally recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful bank holiday in East Meon staying with Wendy and Ron.
They were both so attentive and kind, we felt right at home as soon as we stepped in. The room was very comfortable and we loved the cookies left on the tea table for us! Breakfast was delightful, especially the brief history of East Meon we got chatting about! Would highly recommend this BnB - truly a gem in the countryside!

Lovely stay, very welcoming and comedy bed. Couldn’t be closer to the pub and breakfast set us up perfectly for a long day walking. Wendy and Ron were wonderful hosts - would recommend!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay with Wendy & Ron at the Pound Orchard in East Meon. We were a group taking two rooms - both of them finished to an excellent standard. The house is gorgeous and very well situated in the centre of the village right next to a pub with delicious food and parking which took away any logistical stress.

Wendy & Ron were great hosts - warm and welcoming, making us feel extremely comfortable (and well fed at breakfast!).

Highly recommend this B&B to all!

What a great experience at Pound Orchard B&B. Our room was more comfortable and well decorated than most hotel rooms I've stayed in. Breakfast was lovely too! The village of East Meon is picturesque and surrounding countryside makes for excellent walking, with plenty characterful pubs to plan a day out around. You're also very close the sea which you can see from the top of the hill on a clear day. Would absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone who enjoys stunning countryside and luxury accommodation. Thank you xx

We first heard about picturesque East Meon on a television program and Pound Orchard popped up when we searched for accommodation in the village. Wendy and Ron are warm, relaxed, accommodating, generous, engaging and friendly hosts and their extraordinary home is a real labour of love with the hallmarks of sustainability. We enjoyed hearing about its history and their journey to where they are now. Our beautiful balcony room and ensuite bathroom oozed quality and were well furnished, modern, immaculate, comfortable and well stocked with beverages/nibbles and washing items . The seating provided on the balcony is also a lovely way to soak in the atmosphere of the village. The breakfast spread was generous and Ron's top notch coffee went down a treat. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Wendy and Ron and listening to stories about their travels and hope to return in the not too distant future.
