The hotel is in an extremeky central location with free parking very nearby. Julia and Sue on reception provided a friendly greeting at Reception.and were very helpful with any further queries we had. We travelled as a family with 2 children under 10. Everyone enjoyed a great night's sleep in our warm and comfortable room. Great choice at breakfast. We will be back!

Smallish room. Everything worked although the bath was high and narrow, the towel rail doubling as a hand hold collapsed. Plenty hot water. Good shower. Windows don't open and you have to keep on activating the air con. Great spot. Daytime free parking adjacent was 24 hour and you had to move but it was OK. Great staff. Handy bar. Don't miss Atelier around the corner.

Staff were absolutely amazing but we can't give this more than two stars as the air conditioning was not working correctly despite going to reception twice (nothing they could do) they were unable to provide a fan, but did provide light sheets and iced water. Due to the laws the windows would not open, but the sleep was unbearable due to no fresh air. This needs to change ASAP for the comfort of your future guests. Either invest in better AC or provide fans for summer/early autumn months

We went to Berwick for a short stay to explore the area. The hotel was brilliantly located in old Berwick with a very short walk to the estuary. The staff were amazing and friendly especially sue and Laura who made us very welcome. We have accessibility needs which were catered to with no fuss.

We had a premier plus room and it was very good. Very clean and a good size. The bed was very comfortable. It had air con and very good drinks facilities. The only throng I would say was wrong was the toilet roll holder was broken but that is just a cosmetic thing that we could work around easily. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was your standard hotel hot breakfast and was very nice. I would recommend staying here

My husband and I recently had a 2 night stay at the Premier Inn in Berwick Upon Tweed. We had a third storey room, which was clean and tidy, but the window did not open. The window had been put in as a window that didn't open. I am a little claustrophobic and need my bedroom window to be open all year round, so I was unhappy my window wouldn't open. ||The plug in the sink was stuck, but I reported this, and the problem had been resolved once we returned to our room. ||The staff were friendly and helpful and I would recommend this Premier Inn as a good place to stay. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 stars because of the bedroom window..

How very disappointing this stay was . Arrived to stay in premium plus room . No hand gel or shower gel . Mentioned this at reception on night of arrival and no one had been at 3 pm today . Once again asked at reception who then sent someone up to fill it . Towels were dirty. To pay £304.00 for 2 nights is disgusting . Advised rooms don’t get cleaned every day and I get that but surely check in rooms should be done properly . Never mind lesson learned . On a better note bed was very comfy and great location

A tale of two halves!
Last minute booking, so paid high for a premier plus with breakfast.
Positives - breakfast was ok, and breakfast staff friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was lovely and comfortable. Parking is a minutes walk away and is free. There is a fabulous Turkish restaurant called Mavi about 3 minutes walk away. The town is great and this hotel is in a good location.
Negatives -it was on the 3rd floor so windows do not open and it was so stiflingly hot in the room it was hard to breathe. The air conditioning was set to 19⁰ and wouldn't go lower, we rang reception who said he would cool it down further, give it 15 mins - we went down to see reception twice in the next hour who said the same, and finally said they couldn't make it any cooler. We propped the door open for a while as the corridor was much cooler!! An uncomfortable nights sleep ensued because of the temperature.
Aside from this, the toilet seat was awful, kept coming off the fittings, towel rail collapsed, we were only given one hand and one bath towel for 2 people, the hairdryer had a mind of its own and kept turning on and off, and the coffee from the coffee machine was not great.
We won't be rushing back!
