Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also roomy and beautifully maintained. The location was ideal—close to everywhere we wanted to go. While there’s no on-site parking, a paid parking lot just a 2-minute walk away made things super convenient. We’d definitely stay here again when visiting Birmingham.

Really easy and comfortable experience. Staff were helpful upon arrival, the room was spacious and clean and had everything for an overnight stay. Check in/out was simple and the location was perfect for central Birmingham and a close connection to New Street station.

Nice sized rooms but our room had a fan running all night. Really comfy when able to sleep. Location is right next to a lot of bus stops and there seems to be a lot of people just hanging around. The area looks a little run down but there is work going on in the area. Very near centre of city for shops and sightseeing

This hotel deserves 5 stars. It has brilliant accessibility into the Bullring shopping centre, into the heart of Birmingham and entertainment. The staff are friendly, talkative and the food is superb. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Excellent friendly staff and service. The evening meal at the Bar+Block is excellent especially the steaks. The staff were very efficient and helpful especially as we were a large party. At the end we were able to pay individually for our meal which was a great help and the manager was more than happy with this. Thank you and see you next year.

Went to the wrong one first of all 🤣😅but luckily it was a very simple walk from new street one following the tram lines. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. The breakfast was lovely and they let us leave our bags the next day so we could explore before having to head home.

A great place to stay if you’re travelling for business and looking for something affordable and cheerful, within walking distance of everything in Birmingham. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay.

We have had a disappointing stay at the Birmingham City, Exchange Square on 17 April 2025. We were in Premier Plus room No. 1102. It was a disaster from the start to the finish. ||The bedside lamp had a bulb missing. I reproted this and a receptionist came with a buld and fixed it. Then there were no coffee pods for the coffee machine. When I asked for these I was told that they did not have any.||The final disasterous experience was in the morning when we went to have a shower. The soap dispensers were empty! ||We have always valued our stays at Premier Inn but this is a second bad experience we have had.
