We stayed here for 3 nights and it did not disappoint. We asked for a quiet room which was given and also we had one of the new refurbished rooms which was very comfortable, as was the bed. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and well presented.. The staff were very helpful, from Deepak and Prem at reception to Sharon, Emma and the lovely Rachael who looked after us so well. If we could throw a stone it would be at the fact that we were unable to open the window, consequently the room was somewhat uncomfortable as it was very hot at times. We have had windows that opened with a safety bar but, alas, not here. Would defininitely stay there again.

Staff are so polite, friendly and courteous, they cannot do enough for you. I got parked due to my disability but can see this as a problem for others. My advice is to park round the back, check in and drive about 1/2 mile for off street parking, far better than paying ÂŖ20 for a day at the car park. The premier inn plus rooms are first class and great to have a fridge and coffee machine. Room has a great view of the cathedral.

I had the pleasure of a two night stay here for a wedding reception nearby. The welcome by one staff member (reception) could be best described as 'robotic', but that was only one person. All the dining room/bar staff were extremely helpful, quick to serve and very welcoming. I'd like to make a particular mention to Macauley and Deepa, who went above and beyond to serve 13 of us at dinner on the evening of 16th April. They were friendly, professional and the service was swift. The other lady I would like to make a special mention to, is Christine. She was there at breakfast on both the 17th and 18th, such a warm and friendly lady, professional, but just had that special 'something', a credit to the Company, as were MaCauley and Deeta. The meal deal of a two course dinner and breakfast the next morning is exceptional value. The only thing I would say is that the vegetarian/vegan options at dinner are limited, but other than that there is an excellent selection to choose from. I had the vegetable Thai green curry which was delicious and not too spicy, but very tasty, thank you to the Chef, we all enjoyed our meals. Breakfast is really good, something for everyone, except if you want vegetarian sausages you will have to ask, and order, but they are delivered to your table, so no big deal there, I just find it odd. The breakfast staff were also helpful and friendly. Note:- If you pre-pay for the meal deal, keep your receipt to show at breakfast as you will be asked for it, which is totally understandable and not at all unreasonable. The rooms are exactly as described in the adverts, big comfortable bed, everything you will need, hairdryer, coffee/tea tray, you'll want for nothing. The night staff were also very helpful in locating my car key, which I had left on a table near the bar, what a relief that was, so thank you, I wish I had got their names. Parking is OK, you can pay by telephone (automated) or on your mobile, but for that you will need to download the parking App. It's totally separate from Premier Inn, but the parking is quite limited there is another car park nearby, but more expensive. l'm not sure how you would cope if you've not been here before and you arrived at night, bring a torch! Signage from the car park to the side of the building to where the entrance to the building is none existent, again, you could be confused if arriving at night as you go around to the left. If you reach the Tesco cash point, go back a few steps and the entrance to the building is there, but the writing on the glass doors saying Premier Inn is does not stand out.
All in all though, a brilliant stay I would definitely recommend and stay here again if I am in the area.

Parking is nonexistent.. The "car park" they have underneath holds approx 6cars, but is currently closed for renovations.
The car park down the road costs between ÂŖ2 and ÂŖ20 depending on length of stay.
Rooms heating/cooling doesn't go below 19°, rooms are always warm, so sleeping can be hard if you like it cool, the windows don't open.
Generally the place is tidy and clean, staff are mostly helpful.

Firstly, its a great location within a few minutes walk downhill into town. At the moment, the fourth floor is being renovated but the only noise we heard was from the early morning (07.30) deliveries to the Tesco Express next door. ||We parked at Holmes Meadow which is around 5 minutes walk from the hotel and much cheaper than its own car park - which incidentally is being dug up at the moment anyway.

Place is OK.
Staff were not the most people friendly, both checking in and at breakfast.
Rooms were ok and comfortable, the shower was good, and the bathroom needed some TLC 🙂.
We had issues over the parking and luggage as we were on motorcycles, parking was closed for refurbishment of hotel, this had not been advised previously when we booked but was eventually resolved.
Breakfast was a 6/10 but plentiful.

Paid for early check in but was told cleaners had only just turned up and we had to wait for our room. Why advertise a time/service if it is not deliverable? Cleanliness of room was rushed and not up to par - hoovering missed, mould on tiles and stain on pillow case.||Foyer smelt of cigarettes due to doors open to the car park for the building work going on.||Given we paid extra for a premier plus room - this was a very disappointing experience.||Staff were visibly stressed due to the issues with early check in.

They were undergoing refurbishment. But generally there was little noise from the building work. It maybe because it was a weekend. This is a great location for Canterbury. As at least you know what kind of accomodation you are going to get. Unfortunately from the website the parking for the site was temporarily closed while the building works are going on.
