So when you book a room, there’s kind of an unwritten rule that you’d get a clean bed and a hot shower. Not at this place, no sir.

Zero hot water. When told about the issue, staff waved it off promising to have someone fix it. That person never showed up, so two days were paid for and they couldn’t fix the issue.

Asked them to move us to another room. Nope. “We’re all booked up”. Well, okay. If that’s the case, what’s their obligation? To provide a room with a clean bed and a hot shower. You’re booked up? Find another local hotel to move your guests to, and comp that room. That’s the least you can do, or offer to comp the rest of the stay. Nope to both.

We disputed the charge and Chase bank came through clutch (thanks, Chase!)

Maybe this type of thing is acceptable to the locals, but not to anyone with a brain. If you don’t provide the goods and services you charge people, then you’re just kind of slimy and people should know that what you see is not what you get here.

Do better, or learn how to do better. There are a LOT of places to review businesses online, and a lot of people willing to listen.

(It would have been easier for you guys to just give us a room with hot water so we wouldn’t have to take freezing showers for three days. But there we are. 🤓)

The hotel is a reasonably modern building with air conditioning (which worked). The hotel is clean, the hot water is hot and the beds are comfortable. The staff are pleasant and helpful. That's the good stuff. On the down side the free wifi is glacially slow even for doing simple emails. And the restaurant .... is best avoided. It has been downgraded from a Brewers Fayre and is now only open to hotel residents. My evening mean is best described as DREARY. Could not have a pizza because "there is no cheese" - seriously! The restraunt is gloomy, dreary and an unattractive place to eat. Better eat at Tesco cafe across the road. Breakfast was more of the same with undercooked sausages (warmed rather than cooked), rubbery eggs and lukewarm mushrooms. If I stay again it will be evening meal at Tesco and breakfast at Costa. As a PS, avoid the Hungry Horse next door too!

Staff were great but the room was tired, as was the eating area for breakfast. There was a funny constant whirring sound all evening but I couldn’t suss out what is was - sounded like a bathroom fan that never turned off. Parking isn’t good at all - shared with guests visiting shopping arena when there’s ample space round the rear. ||Breakfast wasn’t the usually Prem Inn standard to be fair, no mushrooms and lots of other items missing. Milk never topped up - it’s the small things. ||I’m not sure I’d visit this one again.

So glad to see that the rooms have not been "upgraded" as Premier Inn upgraded rooms are dreadful! This hotel still have the bath and the lovely pillows and mattress that you might expect. The staff are wonderful too, many thanks to the maintenance man and receptionist who were so kind when I fainted. Such a shame that the restaurant is not now being fully used and is only open at limited times.

Very clean and comfortable with well equipped room. Staff friendly and helpful. Meal deal excellent value and breakfast excellent. Hotel free WIFI dreadful but that wasn’t essential for me. Car park is a public car park adjacent to the hotel which was free. Overall excellent stay and would return.

The staff and facilities were better than most 5 star hotels I have stayed in. the bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean . The evening meal was very good as was the breakfast . All this for a very competitive price. Will certainly use Premier Inn again

Overall great staff, but the good night guarantee was completely overlooked when I told reception I was woken TWICE by a very noisy guest in the room directly above. Good nearby facilities and easy to find. Stayed here a few times - not as good as usual

Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. However the restaurant food and service was absolutely dreadful, breakfast, was tasteless and bland . Won't be eating there again, in the past on my stays it was Brewers Fayre restaurant and I have to say that had always been excellent.
