Stayed a night while working nearby. Whipsnade zoo is only a few miles away so good for visiting there.

Rooms were clean enough, basic hotel, nothing special. Standard rooms have no air-conditioning and on a hot day they are like sweat boxes. My room was 27 degrees C all night, yuk. They supply a fan to circulate the heat around a bit so better than nothing.

Food in the restaurant next door is good though. Decent breakfast too.

Clean, refurbished so plenty of plugs and USB ports. Comfortable and cool room. Quiet. Good nights sleep. We stay in a lot of premier inns and this was a nice one! Close to a village where there is a good fish and chip shop and convenience store.

Absolutely wonderful! From the location, the view from the room, the service and the rooms themselves were just superb. The room was so clean and the beds were the most comfortable I could have stayed for longer! We were visiting family in Dunstable and the location was perfect, we had the best nights sleep. The staff at this hotel and at the Horse and Jockey pub attached were nothing but 5 star. Thank you to all the staff! Tina and the restaurant staff were the most helpful and welcoming. Such a brilliant place with everything we needed and staff that went over and above for us and our children. Great value too! We will be back for sure!

Stayed for a week as on a training course for work.
Every one of the staff members from reception to serving staff in the restaurant were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed for one night as we were visiting Whipsnade zoo as a family trip. Having stayed at this hotel a couple of times before over the years we were looking forward to our stay but upon arrival at the hotel the greeting from the lady on reception was incredibly rude and unfriendly and felt like we were inconveniencing her. As we were being checked in I asked if our two rooms were together being one double and one twin room, as I had previously emailed the hotel requesting this as our teenage daughters were in the twin room. I was told this was not possible and the twin room was along the same corridor, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised as the hotel hadn't even had the decency to reply to my email.||The rooms were ok but felt like they could have been alot cleaner particularly the floors and the bed sheets on the double bed were stained!||Our meals at the adjoining pub ' The Horse and Jockey ' were very nice with a friendly welcoming service and good food and drink which we all enjoyed!||Unfortunately I wouldn't want to stay at this hotel again and think that it now appears more suitable for travelling tradesmen judging by all the vans in the car park and all the the self closing hotel doors crashing shut from 6am onwards.....this didn't particularly feel like a family hotel !

The room was clean and there were lots of space. They are going through a refurbishment at the moment so the room was freshly painted. The door lock was doggy and I had to ask for help from reception and they came and looked then said give it a wiggle it will work eventually we ended up double locking the door for safety. The bed was very comfy and quite high off the ground.
We did have issues when we booked we was unsure if we booked a cot or not as it didn't say on our paper work. I tried calling 4 times with no answer when we did get through the person on the phone was rushed and not very clear. Turned out we did book a travel cot.
The hotel was in a great spot for us to go to whipsnade zoo as it was only 8 minutes away.
They had a large car park so lots of space to park.
Although this experience wasn't the best I feel like this is due to the renovations they are having so would use them again.

Carpets are filthy not been swept especially in the corridors. Thick dust on clothes hangers and the shelves above. Spiders in the bathroom. Premier plus room ok, been in better. Teenager’s riding bikes around the car park, which is complete with broken glass. Just generally a forgotten hotel.

Very clean and tiday room , bathroom also clean and well equipped. Automatic check in is useful and there was a very nice lady at reception that help us with useful tips. The room is spacious and thr bedding was clean and fresh, with no stains or bad odours.
