Visiting family for Christmas rang ahead as needed to add an extra room on the day of arrival. Staff were lovely and said they had space and I could pay on arrival for extra room or book online which would be cheaper she took my name as I said I’d book online and she said she would keep an eye out for booking and put the extra room next to ours. Rooms were immaculate and everything we needed for a quick visit. Staff are so friendly and polite it’s great staying I the north all so friendly!

My wife and I were invited to a very short notice wedding - the bride had been very ill and her parents said to help with the quicky in the registry office.||We were offered a room at the venue but that was WAY beyond our budget. We elected a Premier Inn in large part for the mattress. My wife loves the Premier Inn mattresses.||We got there at midnight after a long journey lengthened by a lovely meal at the Black Swan in Fearby.||The receptionist/night porter was friendly and efficient. Our room was the furthest away but we got there quietly and found it to be, as expected, completely spotless.||We had two good sleeps. The shopping centre next door is a convenient addition. ||Recommended? Absolutely.

Very friendly staff. Stayed for few days, got the room cleaned on the 2nd day and was no problem. Beds are so comfortable had an amazing sleep. Not far from local shopping area and a park and ride so ideal location for us. Breakfast in restaurant was nice with plenty choices.

Lovely warm welcome from Norman at the front desk when I arrived at 10pm on a cold night after driving for 5 hours. Everything was easy, the bed comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Also excellent friendly service in the morning and at breakfast. All great value and highly recommended. Thank you!

We spent two nights here. The room was spotless and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, and this was no fault of the hotel, someone created a smoke hazard in their room at 1am on one of the mornings resulting in the hotel being evacuated & all the guests spending around 40 minutes in the car park. Two fire engines involved. |The hotel is well placed near a shopping centre where you can catch a bus to various destinations. There is a Brewers Fayre next door where the staff are equally friendly.

Clean and tidy Premier Inn with helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and well maintained. Looks a bit behind the times in furnishings but good value for money. Pity about the pub where you’re expected to eat as the service there is dreadful.

Dated hotel which has been upgraded in parts with Brewers Fayre next door.

Room stank of damp and mould, which we believe was coming from bathroom. The walls and ceilings are very thin and so noisy guests cluttering around until 2am prevented sleep.

Bed is not comfortable, as they no longer do hypnos. Pillows were rock hard and smelly.

Bought meal deal which was of little value. Receptionist didn't give correct receipt so had to demonstrate how many meals we had purchased as receipt only showed one.

If you stay here don't bother with deals and get an upstairs room.

If good were an option that's what I would have selected. Premier Inn doesn't do food but has a Brewers Fayre on sight. I'll give it a separate review due to poor service. The room was clean. Evening service was fine and I was particularly pleased with morning service - understanding that we'd lost a key card and said enthusiastically that they hoped we'd have a good day. Some imperfections e.g. marks on mirror.
