We have often stayed at this Premier Inn as we have family living nearby. This last time, end of September, was probably the worst. The ground floor room we were given on arrival smelt and felt damp, so we turned up the heating before we went out. But on returning the damp smelt even worse. The gentleman on Reception was apologetic and was able to give us the Accessible room instead which was much better. |The Star Inn, however, seems to have improved again and breakfast was excellent.

Quiet and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. The adjacent Star Inn is very pleasant for a drink and food also. Great for an overnight before Gatwick flight.

I stayed in other premier inns and they are all good. Had to have a operation the next day so stayed the night to save a 2-3 hour drive as had problems on the m25 and it took 6 hours and have a good night but stayed near a fire door along the corridor and all night all you can hear is the door banging and kids and adults screaming all the time and to top it off someone’s phone alarm went off at 05:30 in the room above us. On the door they could have the slow shut hinge but it looks like one of the premier inns that gets forgot for updating. |Needs a good update and a desperate clean. mould in bathroom,things missing.,mirror all around the edges have started to go and the skin having hair line cracks|Was going to stay next week but we think it will be better to do the 2-3 hour drive

Reception staff were brilliant, very helpful with my wife on crutches. Moved our room closer without us even asking.||||2 x fans supplied in room, which was fantastic - we love fans! But on a negative point, there's only 3 x plug points in the whole room, which were all in use already. So we couldn't use them or plug our chargers in. The reception did lend us a multi plug, so again - can't fault the staff.||||The TV was also tiny, my laptop has a bigger screen! Come on Premier Inn, this is 2024.. ||||Please return to proper toilet rolls, the one sheet dispensers are just not good enough.||||All that being said, we will still 100% be back to this hotel, those small things were not enough to put us off what was an overall good stay. With great staff, parking, reasonable price and local to where we needed to be.

Conveniently situated in relation to off airport parking and the airport itself. Free parking and convenient pub/restaurant next door. Well presented Premier Inn but is beginning to look it's age. I guess a re-furb is due. Not cheap but manageable on sensible budget. Spotlessly clean.

Sadly there to attend the funeral of a dear friend.
Room clean, tidy and welcoming.
Bed extremely comfortable.
Friendly staff.
The Star Inn also warrants recognition for its great food, friendly staff and atmosphere.

such a great reception. turned up 45 mins early. gentleman helped get us in rooms early. also helped with directions to nearby shops and supermarkets. rooms are standard. looked clean when we entered. beds are super comfy. no noise from outside, busy road.
